What Really Happens In High School

My eyes slowly opened. I groan. Everything hurts. I'm exahusted and am afraid to move because i dont what pain is to come if i do.

I wipe the crust off my eyes and attempt to sit up when Aria comes rushing in.

"OMIGOD! BROOKE! YOUR AWAKE!" she practically yelled while hugging me so hard it hurt.

"Aria, yes i'm fine. Can you turn the volume down a notch? Major migrane."

She nodded her head violently and sat down "I'm so happy your alive Brooke, I cant lose you, your my best friend and i shouldv'e listened to you." she said breaking into sobs

I cringed "Aria it's ok. You were just so into him you didnt see it, it's ok i forgive you."  I say giving her a small smile. 

She wipes away her tears, and smiles back. I ask her "Where's everyone?"

She sniffles "Shane and i were the only ones allowed to go into the ambulance. They sent him home because he as here all night, not leaving your side. I just got here when you just woke up. Everyone is outside in the waiting area so is Shane."

The doctor comes in and i ask if i can have visitors. He lets me and Aria calls everyone into the room.

I'm looking out the window when Shane comes rushing in. "Brooke than god your alive, i was so afraid i lost you!" he gives me a sweet kiss.

Leda and Jayden had balloons and flowers in hands both saying get well. Arabella listens to Aria as she explains things about Robert.

I clear my throat and the room goes silent. I motion for Aria to close the door and when it is i say "Where's Robert? Did he get caught?"

Shane shakes his head. "No, he ran off, probably thinking you were dead but were really passed out. I'm so sorry we werent there on time."

Aria interupts saying " I feel like this is all my fault. If i wouldv'e listened to you you wouldnt be here."

My eyebrows furrow together "How'd you guys find me?"

Leda says "Well we just came back with hot dogs and saw that there as no noise."

Aria says "You washed up on the beach and i looked around for Robert when Shane called 911."

Shanes eyes look sad when he says "I thought i lost you, it's a miricale your still alive."

The doctor comes in and asks everyone to leave so i can rest, Shane kisses me softly and tells me to get better, Aria givs me a hug and gives my hand a reassuring squeze, everyone else did the same.

When everyone is out i shut my eyes tight and think I have to tell Aria the truth about me and Robert. I have to tell her about fighting.
