I take a deep breath and walk into homeroom. I was relieved to see Shane not in his seat beside me, i slowly made my way there as everyone looked at me as if i were a weird species.

Robert leans toward me and says "Tough time? I need to talk to you Brooke."

I turn and ask curiously "Why were you so beaten up at Ivans' place? And how'd you escape?"

He winces at the sound of Ivans name "He um..... got me for trying to kill you. And i escaped right after you did, some nimrod left my cell door open then i heard yelling outside and heard you escaped and i took a chance of booking it, and now i'm here." smiling proudly for himself

"Spit out what you want to talk about, i'm getting ready to hurl just sitting next to you."

He clears his throat and says "I want to team up, together we can bring Ivan and his club down! And then we can be the rulers and then fighters can be afraid of us."

My mouth hung open and i said "As i recall you tired to kill me, and failed miserably. What do you think i'm going to say? Oooh well golly gosh Robert i would love to team up with my killer and track down my physcopath brother! Well my answer is a plain flat no."

His eyes began pleading but before he could speak i said venomisly "Bite me"

The bell rang and i slowly made my way out, i sighed and with a shakey hand i pulled my hair out of my eyes. I see Jayden and my heart swells at the sight of my best friend. I start to walk toward him until another girl goes up and sits next to him. My smile falters and i think to myself he's replaced me as a friend. Did my group do the same?

Emotions stir inside but i stay strong. I quietly take a seat, hoping Jayden didnt notice me. The class went on while i completely blanked out. My heart was beating a milllion times a minute as images of what happen zip through my mind.

The rest of the days remained exactly that way.

Finally after school as i walked to my camaro i see Robert leaning against it. I groan and say "Dont you have something better to do Galloway? Like planning to black mail and then kill me."

"Naaaah Bones, it's fun making you angry, your ears go red." He said while chuckling

I didnt reply and he says "Lets team up Brooke, you and me! You know together we're unstoppable. We might go through hell trying to bring them down but lets at least try."

Once again Shane comes striding to my side. His eyes are guarded "Brooke,  stay away from him. Dont let him mess with your mind."

Robert looks appalled and says "Moi? I would never ever put Brookelle here in danger. You must know that. And i was just telling her we should team up."

Shane turns towards me "Are you going nuts?! Brookelle dont you go with this plan! What if he's teamed up with Ivan?"

Anger surged up in me "Shane, i'm capable of taking care of myself and i'm not a freaking moron.I learned not totrust anyone because the guy i loved turned out to hurt me in many ways "

I go into my car and sped away until either one of them could speak.
