I see her lying on the ground with Steve hovering above her.

His hand was raised above his head but before he could hurt her i tackled him. I heared him grunt and he punched my stomach.

I kneed him in the face and he rolled away clutching his face. "BROOKE YOU BITCH!" he yelled.

I grabbed Arias' hand and pulled her to the back yard. I grabbed the bag with my clothes in it and we rushed to my camaro.

I rushed out of there and Aria was breathig deeply. "Brookelle is there something you have to tell me?" Her eyebrows raised.

"You know how i never knew my real dad right? Well she married that man Steve, he's pretty terrible and he used to beat me. Thats why one advantage in fighting was i could protect myself from him. And you know how my mom is never home so she never sees Steve Drunk or out of control."

She looked at me and smiled. "Your life is pretty rough Brooke. I wish i could be as tough as you."

I smiled but it dissappered when i looked in the rearview window. "Dammit!" I yelled an swerved to the left into a local park.

Aria was holding onto the dashboard and yelled "WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

I looked behind us and parked in the mall parking lot. I whispered fast and said " We have to split up in the mall. Go to the busiest place yu can find. Ivan was tracking us and he's here. Dont make it seem like you know he's following us, stay calm and text me if anything happens."

She nods and walks off towards the food court. I look around and go inside of the bathroom. I hear the door open and see Ivan. I go inside the handicap bathroom and hold my breath.

"Oooooooh Brookelle! Come out to plaaaaaaaaaaay....... I know your in here sweetheart. I saw you come inside, come on and greet your older brother."

I closed my eyes tight and said "Your not my older brother. Your a lying, cheating, and jerk of a guy."

I heared him chuckle and say "Awww is my baby sister mad at me?"

I stepped out of the stall and glared at him. "I'm not your sister i hate you!"

"Well I love you Brookie, but i'm sorry i have to do this to you"

I looked at him confused and smelled something weird in the air. Darkness consumes me.
