Sunghoon slowly opened his eyes, the light outside starting to shine through the open window. He placed both of his hands at his sides and tried to get up, unable to when he was held down by something. Jake had his head laid on Sunghoon's chest, sleeping soundlessly. He had a frown on his face and his eyes brows were knitted together, what was he dreaming about? The younger tried to slide out slowly, trying to place Jake gently on the pillow, but he would just whine and go back to his spot.
When Sunghoon finally gave up on trying to get Jake off of him, he laid back down and took the time to listen to the many sounds outside. Christmas was less than a week away and you could tell. There were the sounds of cars on the streets, many people off to work while others rushed to get their final presents. From a few people's cars and some people's houses, Christmas songs could be heard and it made Sunghoon smile a little. Looking outside the window, snow fell slowly and the sky showed a light gray.
Jake moved around endlessly before opening his eyes. With his eyes squinted, hair messy, and voice groggy, he finally spoke; "Good morning Sunghoon." He smiled a little and pat his head softly. "Good morning Jakey"

The two moved slowly as they got ready for the day, making sure to stay in some comfy clothes for the snowy day. When Jake took the time to look outside, the snow began to come down even harder. They sat on the couch in Jake's living room and the silence with the slight sound of the TV in the backfilled the house.
"Can I stay and hang out with you?" Sunghoon asked and pulled his hoodie over his head. The Australian nodded before going into Netflix on the TV, watching as the many shows and movies loaded up. Many different types of shows appeared on the screen, a few dramas, some animes, and Christmas movies. Looking through all of the movies, they settled on a baking show.
Jake's eyes lit up as the camera panned on a bunch of cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. The show continued as Jake watched in awe and wanted to eat all of the desserts while Sunghoon laughed over Jake's many reactions to the show.
"Look look look! They made a doggie!!" Jake had a wide smile on his face. This relieved Sunghoon a little. Yesterday, they both were hurt badly, so seeing him all happy and enjoying himself was all he could ask for at the moment.
The older stood up and pointed to the cake which was shaped like a light brown dog, almost life-sized. "That looks like Layla! Ah so cute!" He giggled and sat back down as the cameraman showed off the other teams. The older scooted closer to Sunghoon and grabbed onto his arm gently and shook him softly. "Isn't that so cool?" Jake was lost in his world as he watched them bake. "Yes, very" Sunghoon answered back, watching as the smile on his face never left.
"Hey, I'm going to get a drink from the refrigerator. Do you want anything?" Sunghoon stood up from the couch and looked at the kitchen. "Can you please get me water?" Jake looked up at him for a split second before moving his attention back to the TV. "Yeah of course" He placed the pillow he was holding down on the couch and went to the kitchen.
