"Jakey~ Wake up!" A voice called out. Jake slowly opened his eyes, bringing one arm up to block the morning sunlight from his eyes. He slowly turned his head back to see his boyfriend back hugging him tightly, giving him that gummy smile he loved so much. "Good morning Ni-ki~" Jake answered with a groggy voice, pressing into the hug.

Seven best friends laid on the floor of Jay's living room, knocked out, except for the two. The early morning breeze made its way through the open window above them, making them shiver. The TV from last night was still on and there were snacks scattered everywhere. The ending of the first week of winter break creeped up and in return, the seven males decided to would be fun to get together and have a sleepover.

Jay was on the couch, almost falling off the edge. Heeseung was beside him, sleeping upright with his head craned to the side. Jungwon had his head on the eldest's lap, snoring softly. And lastly, Sunoo was curled up besides Sunghoon who was laying on his back, a single blanket covering both of them.

Ni-ki and Jake both sat up and looked around, examining the surrounding. Looking at the mess they made. "Jay is going to make us clean this all up" Jake pouted and brought the blanket up to his shoulders. He cuddled into the blanket for warmth, watching as Ni-ki stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Yeah and yell at us for making a mess, when we all know he helped make the mess too" The younger added, smiling widely when Jake started to giggle.

"Hey, don't call me out like that" Jay said with his eyes half-closed and his hair going in every direction. The older blond teenager was scratching his arm with his left hand and staring at Jake through his dead eyes before panning to Ni-ki. "Can I take a water bottle?" Ni-ki was holding a water bottle in his hand, stopping in his tracks when he heard Jay's voice. The older out of the three just nodded, picking himself up and dragging his feet to the bathroom.

Jake and Ni-ki began to laugh. The younger walked back over to Jake and sat beside him, staring deeply into his brown eyes. "You're adorable~~" He cooed and planted a kiss on Jake's forehead. Jake covered his face as he blushed deeply, trying his best to stop his fast-beating heart. "We've been together for more than a year and I still can't get used to your kisses" Jake admitted and looked at the window that was still open.

He stood up to close the window but also took the time to look outside. A man was entering his car, a woman and her child saying goodbye to him, a stray dog walked past the front of Jay's house whining softly, and there was a hint of coffee in the air. Jake looked back and watched as his friends began to wake up. Sunoo started to roll around trying to find Sunghoon's body, who was now standing up. Heeseung was massaging his neck. Jungwon also began to get up, whining loudly at the glare from the sun.

"Calm down child" Jay yelled from the hallway. "We didn't even finish the movie before we fell asleep" Heeseung laughed as he pointed at the TV. "Hey, Jake and I finished it!" Ni-ki pointed at himself and then at Jake. "Don't lie, y'all weren't even paying attention. probably kissing the whole ti-" Jay rolled his eyes before Jake threw a pillow at him. "Let's just get ready, I want to go home and work on homework" Sunoo rubbed his eyes.

Everyone took turns going to the bathroom and getting ready for the day. Jungwon and Ni-ki were the last to get ready so they used the time to bug the older ones. "Hey Heeseung hyung, Heeseung hyung, Heeseung hyung" Jungwon repeated over and over again, poking at the oldest's cheek. His hoodie was over his head and he was pouting. "Hey Jay, Jay, Jay, JAY!" Ni-ki was tapping his shoulder repeatedly. "wHAT!!" They yelled at the same time. The two youngest just ran away laughing loudly. "You know, I don't get their humor. What even was the point of that" Jay scoffed, crossing his arms. "It was adorable though-" Heeseung blushed. "I question you and your definition of adorable" Jay stood up from the couch and went to toss heeseung a bottle of water.

Sunoo and Sunghoon were in the corner of the living room, having a lovey-dovey moment that nobody wanted to watch. They stared deeply at each other, arms wrapped around each other and their foreheads were pressed together. "Stop making me feel lonely, stop reminding me that I'm the only single one" Jay whined and furrowed his eyebrows. Jake exited the bathroom and let Ni-ki know it was his turn.

As each friend began dating, the days felt like they passed by quicker. Everyone was always consumed in their own life. Some were off in college, some were still finishing off high school. But that's the exact reason why having moments together as this meant so much to them. They all were friends for as long as they could remember. Although it was faint, they all could remember that they clicked immediately. Each of them was unique in their own way, had their passions and goals in life but it balanced the group out. No one ever felt bored, left out, or as if they had to lie to the others. They all were just, comfortable with each other.

Everyone started to make a beeline outside of Jay's house, bidding their goodbyes.

"Ah, that was fun. It's been so long since we had some time to hang out" Jay called out and watched as the cuddles huddled together in the morning coldness, while he was struggling to keep himself warm. "Y'all just-" Everyone laughed. Jay was wearing shorts while he tried to warm himself with the blanket he held over his shoulders.

"We should get together as soon as possible. I miss when we could hang out all the time..." Sunoo pouted and tighten his hold on Sunghoon's hand. Everyone hummed in response.

"Welp, we should get going before we freeze out here," Ni-ki said, resting his chin on Jake's shoulder. This was when everyone quickly waved their goodbyes, hugging as well before finally departing in their ways, the lonely one could only sulk as he watched all of his friends walk away.

"What should we do today?" Jake asked Ni-ki with a bright smile on his face. The older's face was pale compared to his red cheeks, nose, and ears. The cold breeze was pushing back his brown locks as he looked up at his boyfriend. The taller chuckled before placing his hand on his cheek.

"I'm sorry, I have to finish some classwork with Jungwon and Sunoo today" Ni-ki had a frown on his face, watching as Jake's smile dropped a little. You could see the excitement in his eyes disappear.

"It's alright... But remember it's the winter break so don't stress out too much okay?" He pointed at Ni-ki's face and remember the times where the younger would stay up all night doing homework when he knew he could do it later.

"Yes yes. I'll drop you off at your house, okay? Then I'll need to head out." Trust was something the couple had to build up over some time. Both always had trouble trusting others with their feelings so it took a while for them to get comfortable again. "Okay."

The walk that seemed like forever, had finally come to an end when they reached Jake's front porch. The temperature outside only seemed to get colder, they both were visibly shaking from the coldness.

"You should get going inside, it's really cold out here." Ni-ki's eyes stared into Jake's.

"Come here babe~" He opened his arms and Jake immediately fell into his touch. The younger planted kisses all over his face before landing on his lips.

"Get some more rest okay? I'll call you later"

"Mhm! Have fun with them! Don't stress out about school work. I'll call whenever your done, just let me know."

"Okay, bye babe!"

"Bye-bye!"
