Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki took a moment to just look at each other. It was no longer awkward, they just looked at each other with a slight look of happiness, they all knew that this wasn't going to affect their friendship.

"Come here" Sunghoon looked at Sunoo and opened his arms, taking the younger into his embrace. "I'm sorry Sunghoon, you deserve so much better than this" Sunoo was going to cry when Sunghoon immediately ruffled his hair. "It's going to be okay! I'm not weak you know? I'll support you guys okay?" Although it freaked Sunoo out that they both were taking it so easily, he knew the older one was telling the truth, he didn't expect anything less.

Ni-ki and Jake hugged with a small smile. "I'm so sorry Jake hyung. Please find someone who will treat you better than I did" Ni-ki looked Jake in the eyes, he nodded. And with that, the four were off to do their things. The situation was cleared up but there were still feelings pent in them, it was only natural since both of the couples were together for almost two years. "Bye guys! Have a good weekend" Sunoo waved at the two walking towards the sidewalk with Ni-ki waving as well.

Sunghoon and Jake were standing underneath one of the trees in a nearby park, staring off into the distance. The weather was beginning to get even colder, Christmas was going to be very cold. The ground was coated with at least a few inches of snow and there were barely any people around, the only people were those off to work.

"What should we do today?" Sunghoon mumbled and Jake hummed softly. "I know, maybe we can hang out at my place for a change? We've been at your place for a while now, I want to show you Gaeul!" Sunghoon was smiling very widely and he was almost jumping in excitement when he brought up Gaeul. "My parents finally came home and brought Gaeul with them" Jake could only giggle when Sunghoon held his hand and began to pull the older with him. "Okay okay, calm down Sunghoon! We might fall!!" Jake was laughing as Sunghoon continued to pull them towards his house.

"I'm home! I brought jake!" Sunghoon announced as soon as they set foot into the two-floor house. While Jake looked around, he noticed all of the little things that he remembers from the last time he came. Because they used to be so close, he almost always was with Sunghoon and his family, it felt like he was apart of the family.

"Jake?!" Sunghoon's mother popped her head out from the kitchen, his eyes were a bit wide. The Australian had a big grin on his face when she pulled him in for a hug, patting the male's back in a comforting way. "It's been way too long! Where have you been? Hiding from us?" Mrs. Park (ig i'll address to their parents as Mrs and Mr :0) pulled away from the hug and examined Jake as if to spot something different about him. "Ah you look exactly like before, in a good way" She laughed a little before turning back towards the kitchen. "Well then, make yourself at home. I'll be making lunch alright? Let me know if you need anything" And with that, Mrs. Park was off and out of their sight.

Sunghoon looked at Jake with soft eyes before lighting up and interlocking his fingers with Jake's. This action caught the older off guard, a small blush cover his cheeks. "Come on! Let's go to my room" He pulled Jake up the stairs and into the room farthest from the stairs.

Once settled the two were sitting beside each other and just staring at each other. Well, you could say they were admiring each other without even noticing.

"Why are you staring at me?" Jake started, his cheeks were even redder.

"Why were you staring at me?!" Sunghoon got flustered as well and looked away.

"U-uh anyways. G-Gaeul! Gaeul-ah, come here" Sunghoon started to make noises to call his dog. After a few minutes a little dog came running into the doorway of Sunghoon's room, jumping up and onto them when she reached them. "Oh my gOsh, she got so big" Jake exclaimed and got all giddy as he pets the white fluff ball in front of them. Sunghoon stopped his movements and watched as Jake and Vaeul had a moment like he wasn't there.

"Ah, I see. You care more about Jake" Sunghoon pouted and crossed his arms slowly. Jake laughed softly before bringing Gaeul into his arms, she immediately started to lick his face. Once she stopped and lost interest, Gaeul rushed towards Sunghoon and found a spot on his lap. "It's probably because I haven't been here in a while" Jake cooed and laid on his stomach, making his head leveled with Gaeul's.

Jake gasped softly before showing the biggest smile Sunghoon has seen in a while. "Layla and Gaeul should have a little play date one day! It'll be fun, it's been a while since they've been together" Jake shared his idea, swinging his feet back and forth as he stared up at Sunghoon. "Yeah they should. Hopefully, they get along, Gaeul doesn't really like hanging with other dogs" "Hah Layla too! She's a big dog but likes to stay away from them and stay with humans" The two laughed together, this made them both feel a lot better.

It felt so good that there was someone there right beside them to talk to. Someone there to talk to whenever they had such menacing thoughts in their minds from the whole situation with Ni-ki and Sunoo. The feelings of hurt and anger weren't gone, it wasn't being pushed away. Instead, those wounds were being cured, being cured by having each other. Because they had each other, they couldn't stay hurt and heartbroken, they just couldn't keep those negative feelings in between them.

Sunghoon brought Gaeul up to his face and nuzzled his nose against her's. Jake's heart couldn't handle it and he couldn't help but smile, his cheeks were aching at this point. "What are you looking at Mr. Sim?" Sunghoon teased. Jake was still dazed as he looked at Sunghoon with a slightly red face.

"Y-you..."

Hello :)) We usually plan out our stories thoroughly before putting out the first part but this whole story has been just whatever came to our mind when we sat down to write. We want to thank you guys so much for voting and even commenting!
