Chapter 14"Rose..why do you call me that name?"
Gulping down my dry throat I kept eye contact with the blonde beauty. Unable to come up with words I stayed silent. Not yet noticing how close we were to each other's faces. My breathing gets heavy and I feel my stomach fluttering.
"Eden.." Rosalie whispered before continuing to stare at me. Eyes, lips then back to my eyes. My cheeks flush crimson red and my body heats up.
"Rose..."
"Guys what the hell are you doing?!" Perla knocks on my side of the car making me jump from position. Holding my hand to my chest I take a breath of relief. That was so intense I thought. Getting out of the car Perla handed me my coat.
"Eden wasn't feeling well and she left her keys inside so I let her warm up in my car." Perla turned to me, giving me a confused look. Nodding, confirming what Rosalie said was true my best friend and Kate exchanged looks.
Kate then broke the silence and said "Well, if you aren't feeling well then you should head home. Don't worry. I'll take Perla home." nudging my best friend who began to giggle.
"I'll take her. This isn't really my scene."
We all nod and I give my keys to Perla. We exchanged goodbyes and I got back in the car. Meeting the warmth of the leather seats I hum at the luxury of heat.
"Where were you Rosalie?" I questioned again. Genuinely intrigued why she left school after that day in the library.
"I had to take care of some things. Eden, I'm sorry for how I acted. I really did not talk badly about your dress-"
"It's in the past. I got over it."
"You looked beautiful in the dress as always." she muttered. Not quite sure if I should say anything about it, I stayed silent. Attempting to calm my nerves. Did Rose like me? I mean why else would she look at my lips? Maybe I had something on my lips or my lipstick looked off.
Today is a bad day. Not only did I drive all the way out to Seattle, going home without even clubbing and now my stomach decided to rumble up some noise.
"Have you eaten?" Rosalie glanced with a small smile. I took in the view. There's only so many times you can see her smile.
"Uh I ate last night. Didn't have much appetite." I said looking away embarrassed. Flexing my stomach I try to conceal the grumbles of the emptiness. Looking out the window I was too shy to have Rosalie look at me.
"You need to eat. We can stop by somewhere to get you something to eat." She suggested looking around the city full of lights.
Never really enjoying the thought of eating alone. I shake my head and shrug "I don't like eating alone." I admit
Getting a sympathetic look, she gazes over me with a grin. "You don't have to eat alone. I'll be right there." Smiling at her sweetness I looked at her. Like I said. I could not stop looking at her. "You look beautiful by the way. I love your dress."
"So you're checking me out now Rose?" I joked. Seeing her roll her eyes I laughed a little. Whatever you say, Eden." she hums in the driver seat.
Feeling a bit ballsy at this moment I strike up a conversation with Rosalie. "Do you like me?"
"What?" Rosalie asked, glancing at me then back to the road where she shifted uncomfortably. "Like you're nice to me then you get moody on me. Do you like me or do you just like making my head spin?" turning my attention to her I leaned my arm on the center console.
