Just a heads up I kinda switched how the exams were taken. Also I'm sorry if the practical portion isn't that detailed.
It's finally here! The day many hopeful individuals dream about to get a head start on their even bigger dream of becoming a Pro Hero. It was the day of the UA Entrance Exams.
Sighing I glanced up at my reflection as I finished buttoning up my uniform shirt. I tucked it into the uniform pants before smoothing out the wrinkles.
'Finally! I am getting my chance to prove that someone quirkless can work to become a hero.' I thought before taking one last look in the mirror.
"Zira darling get down here otherwise we'll leave and you won't get breakfast." Called the hobo of the house.
"Coming dad." I called grabbing my jacket and backpack.
I dashed out of my room and was bounding down the stairs two at a time. In a matter of minutes I was in the kitchen grabbing a light breakfast.
"So you ready for today little listener." Inquired Yamada glancing up from the paper.
"Ready as I will ever be Papi." I remarked as I leaned against the counter unwrapping a muffin.
Aizawa walked in sipping his coffee and glancing between me and Yamada. I just laughed knowing he always suspected us plotting something against him.
"Good morning dad."
"Good morning Zira. Do you have everything for today?" Inquired Aizawa placing his now empty cup into the sink.
I nodded since I had food in my mouth. Finally I motioned towards my bag and he understood what I was getting at. Glancing at the clock, I quickly swallowed the muffin and took a quick drink of milk.
"Shit! I didn't realize it was that close on time. You guys know I can eat on the way especially since we're going to your work." I insisted grabbing my bag.
"Zira darling it's fine and besides we don't have to be there immediately because of the exam scheduling." Explained Aizawa.
"This is coming from the man who is usually on my ass if I'm even cutting it close to a leave time or possibility of running late." I glared at him.
"She has a point Shóta." Hizashi stated cleaning up his mess.
Shóta shook his head before leaving the room to grab his things. While he was doing that, Hizashi pulled on his jacket and looked at me.
"Don't start because I'm more and likely going to hear about it later." I pointed a finger at him while I threw my wrapper away.
Once Shóta was back, the three of us were heading out the door to catch a taxi to UA. The ride there was silent as I tried keeping my nerves down. It was only a few minutes before we arrived at UA High.
"You'll be fine Zira and besides you trained for this even before we adopted you." Reassured Aizawa squeezing my shoulder before heading off to get some of his work done.
"He's right little listener. Besides just believe in yourself and you'll do fine out there. I'll see you before the practical okay." Informed Yamada before parting as well.
I sighed knowing they were right and my nerves were getting to me. Slowly I made my way towards the front entrance while glancing at my watch. Noticing that I still had about thirty minutes before needing to head in, I decided to take a seat on a concrete pillar next to the stairs. I watched as some other students head in while I took notes on possibilities of their quirks.
About fifteen minutes passed before I decided to grab my things and head in as well. Just as I stood up, I felt something breeze past me making me falter forward. Out of instinct, I went into a handstand and pushed off into a flip landing on the stairs.
