•*°*• 17. (NOT A REQUEST !!) A christmas special. •*°*•

A/N : Hello, everyone. As the tittle says, this is NOT a request taken by anyone, ever. Speaking of them, I made up my mind for them, and I decided to reopen them for 2021. You will be able to request here starting the 1st day of the new year. Isn't that exciting ?
Now, about today's writing. It will be about MY own au, with MY own hcs : It is called Home Sweet Home.
The plotline of the AU itself is too long to understand. However, here is a few heads up and hcs you need to get before reading :

- This will be a fluff oneshot
- Chestnut and Walnut are cousins.
- Both are children
- Both also live in the same house, which is basically a poor-ish shelter. You got it, they are from the lower class and,, poor. To not say anything else. Both have jobs, though, Chestnut delivers newspapers like in canon, and Walnut sometimes investigates on criminal scenes in exchange of money.
- This os will also include ocs : Praline Creme (Chestnut's mom) and Tutti Frutti (Walnut's friend). I don't have referances for either of them, though... sorry.

Snow slowly fell on top of the Cookie World's floor. The sun rose slowly above the skies. It stroke the glass on all windows, crossing the rooms.

Walnut woke up early, today. She looked at the bed next to her. Cuddled under ragged sheets was sleeping a young boy, she recognized as Chestnut, her young cousin. She looked at his sleepy face with a tender smile of hers. Then, she stood up from bed, slowly. She picked her clothes and dressed herself, before picking her teddy bear : Sleuth Jr. She tucked him in her inner pocket. Then, she walked to the room's door, on tiptoe. She closed the door behind her. She crossed the corridor with her shoes in hands. Then, she tied them. When she rose her head, she saw that her aunt was there, sat by the table a cup in hands. She noticed the young cookie heading outside.

"Where are you going, Walnut ?" she asked her niece.

"Ah ! I... need to go see my friend. We are going to the plaza, see christmas decorations they implanted there."

"Oh, alright, have fun ! Oh ! Before I ever forget..." the woman reached her hand to the child, dropping to her six gold coins. Walnut gasped.

"A-Auntie ! This is your own money...! I can't accept that !" she sobbed.

"And yet. This is a christmas gift for you. You were a good child, this year."

"A-And... what about Chestnut ?!"

"I will get him some, too. Now, go, have fun with your present ! It is yours, after all."

"I... I will. Thank you, Auntie."

Walnut wrapped her arms around her, hugging her before leaving the house into the chill, yet quiet air. She walked a bit, before seeing a lady dressed in navy blue and white, her wide mouth broadcasting a grin.

"Sup Walnut !" she addressed her cheerfully. "Merry Christmas !"

"Merry Christmas too, Tutti," Walnut nodded at her. "Got the coins ?"

"Yup ! We're finally gonna go for it ! I can't wait !"

"Me neither," and on that, both ladies walked to the Christmas Plaza, hand in hand.
