The sound of rain hit the rooftops of all the houses, raindrops drizzling down the window.
Textbooks scattered around my desk as I let out a groan, I tapped my fingers on the textbook as my mind was giving me nothing. I kept myself from roaming into my lost thoughts which seemed to fail because now, I was thinking of Soobin, his hair the colour of a night sky, and his eyes are the colour of the sweetest chocolate. No wonder why he has a girlfriend as beautiful as Emily, he was stunning himself. Soobin would never love someone who looks like me, I will never be good for him.I sighed as I stood outside a flower shop, looking at the different mixed colours of flowers on display. My mind mixed with various thoughts which caused my head to ache terribly, I remained silent. "I like Roses " a smooth low voice whispered in my ear. My heart stopped before I looked behind me and saw an unfamiliar face, freckles danced across his face as his ash blonde hair was silky and out of place. "why roses?" I questioned, he thought for a second, glancing at the lush red roses before back at me. "because they are beautiful like you" he smirked as he complimented me, a blush appeared across my cheeks. "I'll buy you roses" he demanded, and I hesitantly agreed. I walked home with my hand gripping on a bouquet of roses, he was sweet, but my heart still belonged to Soobin. Even if I tried, I was never going to be able to give up on Soobin. He was my only love, although he was in love with somebody else.
I swung my legs as I sit on a wooden bench in the park, clutching on the lavender plastic that wrapped around the flowers pulling it into a firm hug, letting out a soft, gentle sigh. I moved my gaze up to the white clouds, I can merely see between the leaves that whirled in the wind. "Hey" a voice rang in my ear, and a tall man sat next to me. I glanced at him, "Soobin.." I muttered and looked at my lap. I felt his eyes look at the roses I held. "Who got you those?" Soobin inquired earnestly, the sweet tone he always had when Soobin spoke faded. "this guy our age he seemed nice, yet I never got his name" I looked at the flowers as I stated, "that's cool" he whispered with a hint of jealousy I could sharply hear. "it should of been me to get roses for you." he whispered again this time filled with sadness and looked down, "pardon?" I asked as I looked at him. "It should of been me to get roses for Emily, I said" He looked into my eyes and leaned forward, Soobin didn't seem pleased when mentioning Emily. "Oh yeah, Emily, how is she?" I queried, he looked at me with a soft smile with I missed more than I thought I did. "I haven't seen her at all today, she's busy." He hesitated before replying, but I could detect the lie in his response. not telling him that he was lying is something he hated but I didn't want to know how she was anyways, I still don't know why I asked.
Night has fallen and the clock ticking was all I could hear, as I sat in the living room looking at the open window in front of me. The curtain was tied with white ribbon into a bow if my stalker was stalking me right now, I would have been able to see him. Yet I did, the light on the front porch lit up his outline, his dusky brown eyes could be seen looking at me. My mind thought of the man who bought me roses, I glanced at the roses that spread out in the vase on the glass coffee table and looked back at him. He didn't move, his eyes were still fixed on me. "Y/N?...what are you looking at?..." I heard Hayoon whisper as he climbed down the stairs, I looked at the window, and he wasn't there. "Nothing, are you ok?" I questioned Hayoon as I raised from the couch slowly," can you get me a glass of water?" he mumbled and rubbed his eyes as he just woke up. I filled a cup halfway with tap water and handed it to him, he placed his lips on it and drank it slowly giving the cup back to me. "thank you" he spoke with a tired voice and proceeded to march back up the stairs to sleep again in his bed. I went back to the couch to glare at the window once again. My eyes met his. Mere silence surrounded me, to be honest, it was kind of creepy, but I shook it off and remained my stare at him. My eyes began to slowly close as sleep overtook me, as my eyes fluttered shut, I noticed his eyes sparkling.
I moved my sleeping position for the 7th time before I opened my eyes, the light shining through the curtains was the only source of light, and I brought my fists close to my eyes and rubbed them. I don't remember much of last night only that I stayed up late, the sound of the clock ticking echoed throughout my mind. I rolled out of bed and stood in the middle of my room, I had many things to do, but I couldn't find what to do first, which irritated me. I diverted my eyes into different directions of the room, all landing on other objects. It stopped at a vase of flowers on my desk. Red Roses, the ones the man got me?.
"No..not from him, from me" someone mumbled gently in my ear.------------
