Tiny droplets fall heavily against the fogged window as the bus comes to a halt. The door hissed as it spreads open. I didn't know why or where I was going, I knew my way home, and that's all I cared for. A tall teenager entered, his black Adidas hat hid his hair, but streaks of damp black jade hair seeped through. Adjusting his denim jacket tied around his waist, he looked around when his eyes met mine I instantly knew the teen who entered,It was Soobin.
Parting his lips to smile, he strolled to sit next to me on the royal blue two-seaters, his legs brushing against mine as I gripped on my bag that was already suffocating by my tight hug. "Y/N, hi" he greeted. I made my hand reach his vision as he eyed me, I waved tenderly still not daring to look into his honeyed chestnut brown eyes. "What are you doing here?" I managed to speak out as I looked at the blurred streetlights through the fog on the window, "I just wanted some space from my family" I felt his eyes on me as he leaned back and rested his head on the top of the seat and said. The air conditioning began blasting through the air vents, and I fixed my position while puzzled, "what the fridge door?" I blurted out in an uncomfortably annoyed manner. Soobin chuckled at my words which earned a glare from me, "you're cute." he spoke and yet he didn't say it as a joke, he was serious. He smirked knowing about the blush he made creep on across my cheeks, I looked down at my lap hoping to hide the smile that no matter what I did I couldn't hide, but he saw it. Although I wasn't looking, I could feel his soft gaze on me. I looked at him. We didn't dare utter a word instead enjoy this silence. "Y/N I think you're-" Soobin began, "babe!" Emily squealed as she hastened towards the end of the bus. Soobin rolled his eyes. "Of course Emily had to ruin it" Soobin muttered underneath his breath, I didn't understand what he meant, but I didn't fret asking,
Did Soobin not like Emily? he shouldn't like her.
Last night I never knew the end to Soobin's sentence, Emily dragged him out before he could finish and she kept talking with her squeaky voice which irritated everyone's ears on the bus even if there weren't many passengers. I huffed, for 8 minutes my class has been sitting here in silence. Waiting for the teacher to walk through that door, "I'm gonna leave!" Taehyun screeched raising from his seat and slamming his hands on the table. "No you aren't Mr Kang" the teacher replied swung the door open and crossed her arms glaring into the eyes of Taehyun's, he sat down, and a few students shared snickers around the classroom. "I wanted to leave" Taehyun mumbled a pout appeared on his face and rested his head on his forearms, I blinked slowly, I spent all night thinking about the end of Soobin's sentence. It could be anything, and yet I might never know the finishing of it. I focused on the teacher as she began explaining today's lesson, although my mind declined to keep focused even if I hopelessly tried. I managed to keep my eyes straight at the teacher, listening to her words. I took frequent glances at Soobin. I couldn't stop. He grew in popularity and girls were mesmerised by his beauty, he was divine with his heavenly eyes which were rich and soft just like the sweetest chocolate and pale pink, plump lips. He grew a friendship with Taehyung and would rarely talk to Yeonjun Beomgyu Huening Kai Taehyun, and even me.
Wrapping my middle finger and pointer finger around my teacup handle, I looked up and let my eyes follow the different people in the cafe. I clicked my tongue and enjoyed the silence I created around myself. I looked outside the window and saw—couples walking down the streets of Seoul. I let myself picture Soobin and me together, Hand in Hand walking through the park as the day passes. I didn't expect it to happen, Soobin didn't seem to like Emily, no one should like her she's a man stealer. I rubbed my eyes and scrolled through Instagram, liking the posts of the people I followed, my life is too dull to be on Instagram, but I do post sometimes. I thought of the photo I took of Emily cheating, but I wasn't bothered to show Soobin just yet, maybe when they start fighting. Sleep caused to overtake my awake state, no matter what I couldn't stop myself from craving my bed. I leaned back on my chair and sighed, looking up at the ceiling, the owner painted it lace white. I sipped my tea again, tasting the sweetness and feeling the warmth tickle my throat, I pushed the hair stands behind my ear. I looked out the window once again and focused on the leaves that danced in the wind.
I met with Soobin the next day, we sat at the park and the silence we had on the bus returned. "you became friends with Taehyung I see" I began our conversation, I looked at him." yeah, he's nice, you know him?" Soobin questioned, looking at me in the eyes. I sighed gazing at my lap. I took a moment before replying "he used to bully me, he stopped for no reason." I glanced at my left before peering back at him, "oh, ok." he wasn't speaking the truth, he was hiding something, and his voice exposes it. I could tell him I knew he was hiding something like he had something to do with Taehyung, and the fact he ended bullying me. Still, I kept hushed. "about your sentence last night you never ended it" I looked away, off into the distance, "it was supposed to be, Y/N I think you're-" he paused before continuing,
"Beautiful" He ended the sentence.
