Ella's PoV
My mother protested. "No, Ella!"
Patil whirled on her. "So you would risk the death of your sons for your daughter to stay with you? Very well, I'll tell them about this before they die."
My mother was stunned into silence. Patil's face was smug as he continued. "If she comes, we will not kill your sons."
Her eyes widened with shock.
'Ella, this is coming down to you. Patil was smart. He backed your parents into a corner. They can't choose between you or your brothers.' Isis said.
'Go with them! Then you can see Patil every day!' Iona spoke with a dreamy tone.
'Iona!' Isis and I exclaimed together.
'Kidding!'
'I'm going.' I said.
'Ella, what are you thinking? You can't be sure that they will release your brothers!' Isis tried to reason with me.
Iona countered. 'But there's still a chance that they'll release them.'
'What about all of Ella's friends?'
'She'll say goodbye!'
'Both of you stop! I'm going to go, but I have my own conditions!' That shut the two up.
Everyone had been staring at me. Patil and Sahnn had slightly worried faces.
'They're worried that Isis influenced you.' Iona informed me.
'Ok.'
I took a deep breath. "I'm going, but there are a few conditions."
Patil nodded at me. "And those are?" he asked.
"You will release everyone on the patrol you captured. I will be allowed to come back to visit if I want. You will release the patrol the second I get to your headquarters or whatever you call the place your taking me."
"Anything else?"
I thought for a bit, then smirked. "I get a beautiful room all to myself. If you guys sleep in tents or something, too bad. I get food anytime I want. I get whatever food I want. The room mentioned earlier must be huge."
Sahnn nodded. "Done. Now lets go."
He grabbed my arm, but I twisted away from him. "I'm not going to leave without saying goodbye!"
I ran to my mother and hugged her. She smiled sadly before handing me a necklace that she loved. "Please, come back to us eventually!"
I looked down at the necklace. It had a beautiful pendant that had a whole bunch of instruments engraved into it. A little note had been wrapped around the side of it, but I didn't want to read it then.
Next, I went to my father. He bent down and enveloped me in a crushing hug. When he released me, he gave me an arrow. I took it and instantly realized that there was something different about it. It had carvings of the forest in it.
"This and the necklace were supposed to be birthday presents, but now is fine for them. Stay safe and come back to us one day."
Tears started welling up in my eyes as I put the gifts into a little bag I liked to carry around everywhere.
I nodded to Patil and Sahnn, and we walked out of the castle. The last thing I heard before I shifted was my parents saying, "Moon Goddess, watch over our daughter, and lead her to happiness. Save her from peril, and let her come home."
Then, the three dark colored wolves ran into the night.

Guess who's BAAAAAACK!!!!!
Guys, I am so sorry for the long wait! Spring break and other things came up, I passed through three different time zones, so when I got used to one it changed, and I have a math test tomorrow that I'm sure to fail.
In other words, I'm extremely discombobulated, very tired, and once again reflecting on how much algebra sucks.
Good day, eh?
Also have a project due in two days which I haven't done near enough on, so I'm going into maximum overdrive tomorrow. Not to mention that my dad is getting on my nerves. I don't think he understands the words "I don't have my work with me right now" when they are stringed together to make a sentence.
Anyway, I'll see if I can wake up my writing mind and get the headphones away from my ears for a few minutes for another update.
