Ella's PoV

I never realized that training with your wolf took so much energy!

Isis and I got along perfectly, its just that I wasn't used to being tested in that way, so it was hard keeping up.

I figured out Isis can be just as stubborn as me, but she usually sided with the good.

I was still surprised that my wolf was pure white. I had asked Isis about it, but she didn't answer. I feel like there's something I'm missing here. Most people, once they shift, feel like a hole in their life has been filled. A bit of mine got filled, but there was still a hole.

After lunch, we had a few classes with our wolf, then we practiced hand-to-hand combat. I was happy about this, we rarely get to do things like this off of the training day, which is where all we do all day is train train train!

I got paired up with Samantha, my cousin. She was Uncle Seb and Aunt Kaytlin's youngest daughter.

"So Ella, how does it feel to have a wolf finally?"

I smiled while swinging a punch at her stomach, "Great!"

The group next to us, Bridget and Kayla, joined our conversation. "What's your wolf's name," Kayla asked.

"Isis."

Bridget spoke next, "Did you ask her how you got a completely white wolf? They've been extinct for thousands of years!"

"I did and she didn't answer," I replied. "You know, my mother is white with silver flecks, maybe some old gene got triggered that made me white."

I ducked as Samantha swung her fist at my head, kneeing her stomach in the process. It didn't matter if I hurt her, there were some people that worked here who knew healing magic.

"Oof," she grunted.

I blinked, "Sorry."

She just smiled.

Suddenly, I felt myself fall forwards. I landed face-first in the mat we were practicing on.

I growled and looked up to see the same person who kneed me in the stomach earlier, Rachel, pulling an innocent look.

"Whoops! I tripped!"

I growled louder, nearly punching her in the face.

Rachel laughed, "Ha! Is the only thing you can do is growl?"

I was three seconds from kicking her leg when Isis spoke, 'Ella, calm down. She's trying to get you into trouble!'

I took a deep breath. 'Your right. I just need to ignore her.'

Suddenly, I felt myself falling again. The entire conversation I just had slipped my mind as I looked up at Rachel.

All I knew was that my fist was now covered in her blood.

Sorry I haven't been updating in a while. I went on a reading spree. It's only because I finished the last book that I started that I updated. Again, I'm so sorry!

How do you like this side of Ella?

School starts really soon, so there's a chance I might update more during then (to avoid doing homework).

Anyways...
