Boy with the Blonde Hair

"Wow Callisto, you look AMAZING!" Adrianus exclaimed as I stepped out of the bathroom in my knee-length, one-sided, strapped dress with black wedges. My hair was wet, but it looked decent, so I left it as it is.

I eyed him up and down before pleasantly replying, saying he looked amazing as well.

He wore black skinny jeans with a black button-up shirt, with a few buttons at the top unbuttoned. He wore a black blazer, and his hair was tousled slightly.

"Shall we?" He asked, offering his arm.
I smiled while shaking my head, "We shall."

We both exited our room and met up with the others in the lobby.

"Woah, do you both clean up nicely", Caleb complimented as we entered the lobby.

Caleb parted his brown hair to the side and wore an outfit similar to Adrianus's except he had a red shirt on.

"Looks like we both wanted to match our men" Aurora giggled.

She wore a strapless red dress that was knee length as well, combined with sparkly red pumps, as she was naturally tall. Her wavy blonde hair was straightened, and she looked stunning.

"It seems we are all ready to go, we just need to wait for my tardy sister", Haruto chuckled with Ritza by his side.

Haruto pushed his black hair back and tied it into a small bun, while wearing formal black pants with a light-blue button up shirt with a black tie.
Ritza wore a glittery-blue infinity dress that reached the floor, and blue high-heels, with her brown hair in corkscrew curls,

"Sorry we were late", Leanne pipped lightly, "We got distracted taking pictures."

Leanne and Airi both had matching green and purple jumpsuits with green and purple stilettos respectively. Their hair were both in an elegant updo, and they looked as if they just walked out of a fashion magazine.

"Alright, I think we are ready to go", Airi beamed.

Leanne laughed and grabbed Airi's hand. Airi laced their fingers together while walking to the van.

Adrianus and I exchanged smiles before following their example.

"Oi, wait for the rest of us! We don't need to catch you both making out in the van!" Caleb yelled, causing all of us to laugh and Leanna and Airi to blush.

It was a quiet ride to the Moulin Rouge, all of us were drinking in the scenery, and watching the Parisian buildings pass us by.
I realized in that moment how small and insignificant we are. We think we are everything, but in actuality, it's the people around us, and our surroundings that truly allow us to live. Every experience; it's us influencing others (whether we know it or not) or others influencing us. It's the exchange of stories and the gaining of experience that allow us to grow as people.

I looked around the fan, and saw my friends admiring the scenery and each other, while Caleb's eyes were trained on the road.

After a while, we arrived at the Moulin Rouge. We took a photo at the entrance and placed our orders for the food we want to be served during the performance.

We all shared a table and watched the flexible acrobats and contortionists. The dances were amazing as well as the singing. The co-ordination was perfect, every step was carefully planned and immaculate. Their outfits were revealing, yet they were all beautiful people.

The food coupled with white wine was perfect. After every dance number I found myself clapping until my hands were sore. My friends were  just as in awe as I was.

As we left, Adrianus slipped his arm around my waist. He gave me a gentil squeeze. I looked up at him to he him wearing a shy smile.
I returned his gesture.

As we clambered into the van, we decided to make one final stop...
