Callisto POV

"Hey, love, wake up", a voice murmured.

"mmmm, 5 more minutes", I grumbled in response.

"You really are lazy, Cal", the same voice teased.

My eyes open and I shot out of bed. Of course the only person to insult me early in the morning, other than my mother, would be Adrianus.

"Jerk", I glared at him.

"Lazy", he countered.

I rolled my eyes, and I looked for the clothes I would wear today. While I changed, Adrianus went into the shower.

I decided to call Aurora to ask where she wanted to sit for breakfast, but I reached her voice mail instead. The funnier part was Caleb was the person on her voice mail asking for more information and to leave a note and such. I thought it was weird, but I ignored it.

Once we were both done Adrianus grabbed the access card for our room.

"We're going to drive for a while, if you don't mind?" I asked him.

"That's if you're not too lazy to drive" he teased back.

"What can I say, you're tiring" I playfully snapped.

"I can tire you in more ways that one" he grinned.

"It's a bit too early for that", I smirked.

"Never too early", he mumbled kissing my neck.

"Alright teenager, do stop now, it tickles", I giggled.

"Yeah, we should get some breakfast", he smiled.

"Shall I escort her royal laziness to breakfast?" He mocked while bowing.

"Of course you can, my annoying highness" I mocked and curtsied back.

He rolled his eyes before linking his arm with mine.

As we walked down the corridor, he did give me credit for my comeback.

I smiled at that.

We arrived at breakfast, earlier than everyone else.

As we piled the cold meats and fruits on our plates, our friends came down from their hotel rooms.

"So how was exploring the city without us?" Ritza asked with fake hurt.

I was about to open my mouth to protest but Adrianus beat me to it.

"As fun as it would be socialising with someone sober"

I chocked on my grape juice, due to laughter.

Adrianus patted me on the back.

"Are you..."

"Yeah I'm alright, thanks love" I smiled at him.

He returned the gesture while he took my hand and laced his fingers with mine.

"You must've been busy yesterday", Aurora grinned slyly.

"Believe me, we could've been, but she only wants to do that when's she's married. I'm prepared to wait though.", Adrianus shrugged nonchalantly

I kicked him under the table and I knew he was in pain because he hissed : "Damn it!"

I smirked before asking an innocent question of my own.

"Why is your voice mail with Caleb's voice saying that you're both busy and unable to get to the phone before asking for the actual note. But specifically Caleb's voice?"

Aurora spat out her water. Caleb looked mildly panicked.

"I have NO idea what you're talking about, I don't remember doing that." Caleb said sheepishly.

"We did drink some really good Italian wine... so we may have gotten slightly tipsy", Aurora blushed.

No ways in hell were my best friends gonna lie to me.

Almost as if Adrianus read my mind he asked aloud: "Brother, be honest, are you screwing her?"

They both looked mortified.

"Pfffft, what made you think that?!" Caleb denied.

Adrianus just continued staring at them in a way, he saw what I saw.

"No ways. Haruto, Ritza, I want my 100 Euros please.", Airi burst out laughing.

Haruto and Ritza didn't look happy parting with their money.

"Hold on, you're betting on us?" Aurora asked timidly.

"Hey, it's okay, I support you both, we do, right folks?" I reasoned.

"Yeah, not like you can help who you're attracted to" Adrianus agreed, before kissing my cheek.

"I mean, I'm dating Callisto" he rolled his eyes in mock annoyance.

I huffed playfully. "You should be grateful, there is only one of me"

He scoffed playfully "I'm glad, there is only one of you"

I pulled a face " yeah, what can I say, I'm so unique, there couldn't be a replica of me. That's how original I am"

He kissed me again and smiled afterward. "I wouldn't want it any other way"

Caleb paled.

"I think I'm gonna be sick. My best friend, and my brother", he gagged.

"You're so immature" I laughed

"You're still gonna be my best friend, and awesome duo buddy, right?", Caleb asked.

"Of course I am. Adrianus and Aurora don't mind, right?" I asked around.

"I don't, I actually need help with him" Aurora beamed.

"He still is weird, so we will both help. Besides, you were friends with him before you got to know me, so I won't take that away from you." Adrianus sighed.

"I'm so glad you aren't an overprotective douche" I said with a straight face before Adrianus and I started laughing.

"Another hundred euros please" Airi grinned mischievously.

Ritza and Haruto groaned before handing over the money.

"I'm not surprised they bet on us, it's a risky bet, it could've gone in any direction.", Adrianus shook his head.

I sighed, "What can I say, I have interesting friends"

"We just were carrying out an experiment of chance and probability" Haruto tried to explain, however, Adrianus and I had this mock-serious expression before we both started laughing again.

"Let's roam Rome" I said, resting my head against Adrianus's arm.

"Sounds fun, lets get the van", he replied.

"We're coming with you this time", Ritza said.

"Fine by us" I smiled back.

We all left our table, grabbed our things and headed for the van.
