Adrianus and I wondered the dark streets for a bit longer, just admiring the scenery, before I yawled out a yawn.

"Aww, is the baby tired?" Adrianus laughed.

I clearly understood that was an insult, but to humour him, I let out a sarcastic "Wah wah"

Adrianus clearly did not expect that from me.

"God, Callisto, how old are you exactly?"

"Well, I'm 26 years old.."

Adrianus smiled, "So I met you when you were 24 or what?"

I returned the smile. "Yeah, you did. You look about 26, how old are you?"

Adrianus grinned, "I'm 28 now"

I did a double-take.

"Well, you're look unbelievably young" I complemented. "And good-looking" I mumbled.

"Sorry, I didn't catch that last statement", he cockily grinned.

"Well, you weren't supposed to", I said cheekily.

"Come on, lets get back to the hotel, so you can get some shut-eye"

"Mmmm", was all I was able to mumble.

We arrived at the hotel, and I immediately walked to my room.

"Well, erm... Thanks for bringing me here, and making sure I was okay and being there for me and..." was all I was able to say before Adrianus kissed my cheek.

He looked down at me and smiled, a genuine smile.

"Thanks for talking and walking with me. You really aren't that bad. I enjoyed myself. You're quite interesting", he complimented.

"Thanks... let me guess, when I wake up tomorrow morning, you're going to turn back into that cocky-bastard?" I asked, suddenly fearing the response.

"Callisto, we just didn't meet on the best of terms, and I'm not going to lie, you're infuriating. However, there is something about you that intrigues me. You're decent. I'll show you I can be decent too."

I smiled at his miniature speech.

"Well, if I intrigue you so much, would you like to walk me to breakfast tomorrow morning?"

Adrianus laughed, "I would be more than honoured to escort you, Miss Callisto"

We bid goodnight and I closed the door.
I sighed in content as I got ready for bed.
Maybe Adrianus wasn't that bad afterwards.
