The Company trudged on that day stopping and starting on the command of Thorin. Eventually he did find a place for the night and they all stopped. Kili hopped down from Minty with ease and carefully assisted Iredessa from the pony's back. "Thanks," she mumbled before walking over to join the company.
Fili
I walked over to the area Thorin had spotted for us and leaned up against a rock sticking my pipe in my mouth. I glanced up and saw Dessa walking towards me. She plopped down at my side. "Hiya Fili!"
"Hey, Des. Did you have fun riding with Kili?" I asked trying to sound as un-jealous as possible.
"Yeah! Do you mind if I rode with you tomorrow? I don't know as much about you as I do Kili, so we could talk along the way!" She smiled widely. Her emerald eyes shone bright reflecting the stars in the night.
"Of course you can! So have you ever had a boyfriend?" I asked awkwardly confident.
"Er... no...not really..." Des shifted awkwardly in the dirt. "What about you? Girlfriend I mean."
"Well...um yeah. Only two or three, and they were all bearded." Des stifled a laugh. "So I heard you say that you are skilled with a bow. Are you any good with archery?"
"Very good. Here I'll show you," she said pushing herself up. I followed her into the dark woods.
