Des
I walked back from behind the rocks and trees and posed for Fili and Kili.
"Wow," Kili gawked.
"Haha thanks," I laughed and sat down in between them starting to set up rest. "When do you think things will get exciting?"
"Soon. If you knew Thorin, then you would know danger follows him everywhere. " Fili elbowed me and smiled.
I returned the smile and rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm glad to have made friends. Especially ones as wonderful as you guys."
"Awwww," they said in unison.
I laughed. "We are glad to have met you too," Kili smiled.
I nodded and layed down. "I'm gonna go to sleep. It's been an exhausting day." They both nodded and layed down on either side of me.
I woke up with warmth on the side of me. As my eyes slowly fluttered open I saw I was cuddled up against Kili. I started to move but felt his arms around me and the further away I got the colder it was so I snuggled back up against him.
"Good morning Des," Kili whispered sounding very tired.
"Morning," I croaked.
We both started getting up and he just grinned at me. I could feel my face burning and he just chuckled. I knew what was happening. I was falling for Kili.
The rest of the morning was slow. It took a long time for everyone to get up. When everyone was awake we started moving. I rode with Bilbo that day. I was glad to finally talk to him. He's like a brother to me and I've been spending most of my time with Fili and Kili.
The day was slow as well and we didn't stop for a long time. When we did it was cold and bitter. And that night I finally got my blood pumping.
