A/N sorry for the crappy chapter last time. I tried to fix it but it's so hard revising such a broken story ya know? I hope my editing helps a bit.

Fili

I followed Des behind the towering trees and behind the rocks. "Okay, ready?" She asked me. I nodded with a grin that I had no clue if she could see in the dark. Des grabbed her bow, reached behind her gently yet quickly grabbing an arrow, pulling it back and let it go hitting a bird in the tree knocking it onto the ground.

Des

"Wow..." he gawked making me blush. "You are really good. I've never met someone that good who wasn't an elf!"

I laughed at him. "Well I actually am. Elf I mean. My mum was an elf. She walked out on me at 3 then my dad died when I was 6 I believe. That's where I get my fighting skills from. My dad taught me at a young age how to use a sword. He was a hobbit, but a warrior hobbit nonetheless."

"Oh...I'm sorry Dessa. My dad left Kili and me when we were really young too. My mum is Thorin's sister," Fili exclaimed as he laid a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Oh wow. So that makes you a prince!" I exclaimed. "I've never met one before!"

Fili laughed at her enthusiasm. "Yup!" He grinned. "So after Thorin's done ruling I'm going to be king!"

"What about Kili?" Iredessa questioned, cocking her head to the side.

"Well I'm older than him so I'll be ruling unless something happened but I don't think that'll happen." Fili said looking down.

I walked up to him and gave him a comforting hug. "It's okay Fili. I'm sure you'll make a great king and you're already a great warrior."

He smiled at me, "Thanks Des. Want to go back now?"
