"Let's go home." Sofia said and looked at the water. The current was calming but it was still fast. "It's to strong to swim by yourself. Ride on my back." Luke nodded and dove into the water. Serena followed.
Sofia took a deep breath and dove. When she popped her head up, Luke was right, the current was strong. It was difficult to even keep her head up. "Here." Luke said and grabbed her hand. Sofia gripped it tightly and wrapped her arm around his neck. "Ready?" Serena asked them. Luke nodded and Sofia nodded as well.

It took them two hours to get back to the beach; but, they finally made it. Sofia helped Luke up the shore and plopped next to him. "You are so strong. Especially with this tail." She smiled and reached over to touch it.
Luke was exhausted. He nodded his head and laid down in the sand.
Serena crawled next to them and smiled. "Hey, Sofia, why don't you get some towels for you and Luke." She spoke. Sofia nodded and ran into the house.
Serena scooted next to him and sighed. "The other mer folk can sense a Sea-Dancer, they'll be searching for you and will try to kill you. They'll even kill anyone who is most close to you. Be careful. Watch out for Sofia." She whispered.
Luke then though of Opal. "I won't let them touch Sofia and Opal. Why are they even after me?" He asked her and Serena shook her head. "I don't know, it's probably punishment to make sure no other Mer folk fall for a human. It's not part of nature for a mer to fall for a human. So, they try to stop it."
Luke looked at her and held her hand tightly. "Thank you, for helping me and for not taking away Sofia's memories." Serena nodded and looked at the sun. "I better get going, it's late, I'm gonna try to find the mer kingdom." She said and hugged him tightly. She crawled to the water and waved goodbye before disappearing in the water.
A warm welcome touched Luke's shoulders and it felt soft. "Brought you your towel." She smiled and wrapped herself in on and sat next to him. She leaned her head on his shoulder and touched his tail. It flopped up and down. She jumped and chuckled.
Luke chuckled a bit too. "Sofia, I'll never leave you." He whispered. Sofia nodded and yawned. "I won't leave you too." And drifted off to sleep...
