Moonlight Transformation

"I think, we should tell her."

Sofia helped Luke by setting the table and cleaning. While she was doing that, Luke was cooking dinner.

"Hey, I never knew you could cook?" She teased and continued cleaning. Luke rolled his eyes and boiled the noodles. "There, sauce done and noodles boiling." He sighed and slumped into the sofa.

Sofia sat next to him and sniffed herself. She smelled like the ocean; and not the good kibd of smell.

"We better shower." She poked Luke into his side and he looked at himself. "Oh gosh, I completely forgot. Uh, I'll go first." He stood up and grabbed a towel.

When he entered the bathroom and turned on the faucet, he almost forgot about his ability. "No!" He tried to stop himself but it was too late, he already had a tail. "Great, is this what I have to go through each day." He grumbled and banged on the wall. "Sofia, I need some assistance." He yelled.

Moments later, Sofia opened the door and grinned. "What's up?" She chuckled. Luke crossed his arms and gave her, 'help me' look.

"Alright, alright. I'm coming." She smiled and helped him in the tub. "Thanks." He ruffled her hair and grabbed the bottle of shampoo. "Just holler if you need anymore assistance." Sofia walked to the door and closed it.

Luke manged to get himself out of tub and dried himself off. With the towel, the process changing his tail to legs, sped up faster. "There." He smiled and wrapped himself in the towel. "Your turn." Luke hollered and walked to his room.

Luke locked the door and got dressed. He slipped on some jeans and a blue tie-dyed tee shirt. Also, he put on his shark tooth neck around his neck.

When he exited his room, Sofia was already done and she wore her dark blue sundress. "Wow, you look beautiful." He smiled and held her hand. Sofia examined him and nodded. "Looking fancy too." She giggled and walked downstairs.

When they were downstairs, the noodles were done. Sofia helped once more by straining the noodles and placing them in the three bowls.

"There, when is she coming?" She asked and sat in her usual seat at the table. "She said 6. It's 5:40." He said and brushed back his hair.

Sofia looked at him and chuckled. "What are nervous for?"

Luke looked at her seriously and spoke. "I think, we should tell her." Sofia stood up and looked at him as though he was joking. "No, we can't. She may tell someone." Sofia said worried. Luke sat down and rubbed his temples. "I know, I know, but she's my best friend. And I think she deserves to know." Sofia shook her head. "She's my friend too and I'm saying it's a bad idea."

Then suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "She's here." Luke said nervous walking to the door.
