Moonlight Transformation

Goodbye....Sofia

Both Luke's and Jacob's eyes widen.

"Swim! Hurry!" Jacob screamed.

Emeka resurfaced and panicked, realizing she was in danger zone. She could already see the sirens coming out of their cave.

Sofia started swimming past her but Emeka wasn't gonna let her get past her.

As she was swimming, Emeka took the dagger and stabbed Sofia's back, to slow her down.

Luke's heart dropped. "No!!" He cried and tried to swam towards her but Jacob stopped him.

The Sirens slithered out of their cave and swam towards Emeka.

"What an ugly heart." They hissed at her and grabbed her arms, pulling her towards the cave. Emeka screamed and tried to be free, but the sirens were too strong.

The Sirens dragged her to their cave, where she would suffer.

When it was clear, Jacob let go of Luke and he swam to Sofia.

The dagger was gone, but the wound on her back was serious. She lost alot of blood and salty water made it sting.

He held her gently and saw her tail split into legs.

She moaned in pain and tears dripped down her cheeks.

Luke hushed her and distracted her from the pain by making her look at the sky. "Look, the colors of the sky is called pale pink." He cried while talking. Luke knew she wasn't gonna live but he still wanted her to see the beautiful sky.

"Sofia, please. Don't go." He cried but when he lifted his head, she stopped breathing and looked blankly at the sky.

Luke closed her eyes and weeped silently.

"I'm so sorry." Jacob said and bowed his head.

Many hours later, Luke freed Opal and they all went to the surface to have the funeral.

Rosella came back and dressed Sofia in a gold dress and they even dressed Serena in a blue dress.

Luke had legs and watched silently, as Rosella finished the ceremony.

They all left Luke for a while, to sat goodbye to Sofia.

He knelt down next to her and placed a flower in her hand and cried again. "You were an amazing sister." He cried.

The funeral was finally finished and they placed the bodies on a plank and drifted off to sea.

Luke sat on the beach, rethinking everything. It was all happening to fast. Too fast. "She's gone." He muttered and a tear dripped on the sand.

Opal swam towards him and was silent. "Luke, I'm so sorry......" she lowered her head and cried.

Luke wipped his eyes. He took off his shirt dipped his foot in the water, triggering the transformation.

Warm comforting arms wrapped around Opal and soft lips touched her cheek.

Opal looked up and wiped her eyes. She creaked a smile and hugged him tightly.

"Luke, I'm going to be like this forever." She spoke and broke their hug. She sat on the shore and sighed.

Luke sat next to her and held her hand.

"Opal, I would never leave your side. I'll stay with you like this." He whispered.

A huge smile spread across her face and she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Forever?..." she whispered.

"Forever..." he responded and kissed her lips.
