NEW YORK CITY, CENTRAL PARK, DAY
(The Doctor is reading a book as Amy reads a newspaper while sitting on a large rock. Rory lies on the ground, soaking up the sun. Bella is taking a sip of wine out of a glass.
A picnic basket is on the ground beside them.)"...and I was packing cleavage that could fell an ox at 20 feet." The doctor reads out.
"Doctor, you're doing it again." Amy sighs.
"I'm reading!" He announces.
"Out loud. Please, could you not?" Amy asks.
"Oh cmon! Bella do you find my-" the doctor begins to say.
"I'm with Amy." Bella states quickly.
"I didn't even finish my sentence." The doctor pouts.
"And yet I still agreed with amy." Bella says.
"Point proven" the doctor scoffs.
(The doctor turns around and glares at Amy)
"There's something different about you, isn't there?" The doctor asks.
"What's the book?" Rory questions.
"Melody Malone. She's a private detective in old-town New York." The doctor exclaims.
"She's got ice in her heart and a kiss on her lips and a vulnerable side she keeps well-hidden." Amy calls out.
"Hey, do I have a secret twin?" Bella exclaims.
"Oh, you've read it" the doctor tells Amy.
"No one gonna appreciate my comment?" Bella mutters.
"No, you read it. Aloud. And then went "Yowzah." Amy continues to tell the doctor.
(Rory sits up)
"You know, only you could fancy someone in a book." Rory states.
"Fancy someone?" Bella snaps.
"I'm just reading. Plus Rory, Why would I fancy melody?" The doctor scoffs.
"Yeah." Bella states with a nod.
"When I could fancy Her sidekick. She's older, sassier, quite hot really..." the doctor mutters.
"or your wife. You could fancy her!" Bella hisses.
"Yeah. Anyway the sidekick, Hope Her name is, she hasn't even been in the book yet. It's like she's this urban legend. Maybe that's why she's so appealing, love a good mystery. Someone..." the doctor begins to say.
(Amy turns around quickly)
"Please shut up." Amy says.
"I knew I should've married Ben. He's a billionaire now you know." Bella pouts as she pours herself another glass of wine.
"Wow, you give a pond a time machine and it's still not enough. Did Ben take you to see Vincent Van Gogh?" The doctor says smugly.
"No. And neither did you..." Bella stammers.
"wiped from existence. Remember?" Amy shrugs.
"Oh yeah. Forgot about that." The doctor scoffs.
"Vincent!" Bella exclaims.
"Bad example." The doctor croaks.
"He flirted with me." Amy then tells Bella.
"Only because I was busy." Bella pouts.
