The other pond- the tale of a ginger

Cold blood- part two

Bella enters through a door, aiming her gun at Restac.

"Let them go!" She exclaims.

"Bella Pond, there's a girl to rely on." The doctor states with a smirk.

Mo enters through the main door.

"You're covered both ways, so don't try anything clever, buster." Bella states with a smirk.

"Mo!" Nasreen calls out.

"Now let them go, or I shoot. I'm warning you! Don't think that I wouldn't!" Bella yells.

Restac suddenly takes the gun from Bella, pushing her to the ground. She hits her head off the ground- she has passed out.

"Don't you touch her! Pond! Pond?" The doctor yells.

"And you." Restac hisses.

Soldiers approach Mo and he gives up his gun.

"All right, Restac. You've made your point." Malohkeh announces.

"This is now a military tribunal. Go back to your laboratory, Malohkeh." Restac exclaims.

One of the soldiers jabs Malohkeh in the back. Bella then wakes up- she rubs her head.

"Ew ok lizard people things.... mind knocking me out again?" Bella states as she looks around.

"This isn't the way." Malohkeh informs the youngest pond.

"Prepare them for execution." Restac hisses.

The Doctor, Bella , Nasreen and Mo are tied to pillars.

"OK, sorry, as rescues go, didn't live up to its potential." Bella pouts.

"I'm glad you're Ok..." the doctor replies to his friend.

"Me too! Lizard men, though! First attack of the old people. And now this!" Bella states.

"Homo reptilia... They occupied the planet before humans. Now they want it back." The doctor corrects Bella.

"I'm sorry but they're just lizards!" Bella states.

"They want the planet back. After they've wiped out the human race." Nasreen then tells Bella.

"Right, preferred it when I didn't know, to be honest. Like I said. Feel free to knock me out again. It was quite relaxing- although I have quite the headache...." Bella huffs.

The soldiers have lined up like a firing squad.

"Why are they waiting? What do you think they're going to do with us?" Nasreen then asks.

a large projection appears in the middle of the room. Rory steps forward.

"I speak for the... humans. Some of us, anyway." Rory announces over the projector and then Amy comes forward.

"Me too!" Amy calls out.

"Do you understand who we are?" Restac hisses at the couple.

"Sort of. A bit. Not really." Rory mutters.

"I could take a guess..." Amy then stammers.

"We have ape hostages." Restac then tells the pair.

The view zooms out to show the hostages toed to the pillars.

"Doctor! Bella!" Amy and Rory yell.

"Oh god it's good to see Rory's stupid face.... and Amy's pretty one. Ugh." Bella sighs.
