Lets kill Hitler- part two

"Oh my god, mels!" Amy announces.

"Rory!" The doctors exclaims.

"No, no, no! I've got to stop the bleeding!" Rory states .

Bella is stroking Mels' hair as Rory tries to stop the bleeding.

"How bad is it?" Amy asks.

"Rory, what can we do?" Bella snaps quickly.

"Just keep her conscious! Stay with us, Mels." Rory exclaims.

"Hey, look at me. Just hold on." The doctor then tells Mels.

"I used to dream about you. All those stories Bella and Amy told me." Mels states.

"What stories? Tell me what stories. Vampires in Venice, that's a belter." The doctors replies.

"When I was little, my biggest dream was travelling with you." Mels says.

"Good idea, let's travel! You live and I'll take you anywhere you want, ok? Deal?" The doctor states.

"I would like both my parents to agree that's a good idea..." Mel stutters.

"Soon as you're well, I'll get on the phone." Bella announces.

"Might as well do it now, since you're both right here." Mels tells Bella.

The Doctor, Bella, Amy and Rory exchange glances.

"Penny in the air." Mels announces.

The Doctor stands as Mels begins to glow with regeneration energy.

"Penny drops!" Mels exclaims.

"What the hell's going on?" Rory calls out.

(The Doctor grabs Bella, Amy and Rory, pulling them away)

"Back! Back! Back! Get back!" The doctor cries out.

(Mels stands)

"Last time I did this, I ended up a toddler in the middle of New York." She tells the group.

The Doctor, Bella, Amy and Rory are standing against the desk.

"OK, Doctor, explain what is happening?" Amy questions.

"Please!" Bella then states.

"Mels. Short for..?" The doctor questions.

"Melody." Mels explains.

"Yeah, I named our daughter after her." Bella tells the doctor.

"You named our daughter... after our daughter." The doctor replies.

"Took me years to find you Bells. I'm so glad I did. And, you see, it all worked out in the end, didn't it? You got to raise me after all." Mels tells Bella.

"You're Melody?" Bella questions.

"But if she's Melody, that means she's also..." Amy states.

"Oh, shut up, auntie! I'm focussing on a dress size." Mels announces.

Mels gives in to the regeneration and screams as the change takes place. When it is over, she is in the now-familiar form of River song. She pants as she regains her breathing and becomes familiar with her new body.

"Right, let's see, then. Ooh, it's all going on down there, isn't it? The hair! Oh! The hair, it just doesn't stop, does it? Look at that! Everything changes! Oh, but I love it, I love it! I'm all sort of... mature! Hello, Benjamin!" Melody calls out.
