Ash told Serena that he'd seen death in those dreams.
He never said whose.
It was too complex for someone who wasn't present to understand. Ash had died, several times and yet he'd woken up the next morning as if nothing had happened.
Once, it was a gunshot wound.
Second, it was a stabbing.
Third, it was a blast.
Fourth, his broken rib had pierced one of his internal organs, it was brutal and excruciatingly painful.
However, there was one similarity throughout his various dream. He was killed by the same man, with the same sleek hair and a wicked grin. The meowth sharp eyes and the eyebrow cut.
It had taken Ash a few days to realize that he'd seen this man before, though not as clearly as he'd seen him in the past few days.
But he had.
Back when Ash was tied to a certain chair and waves of electricity were flowing through his body.
When he was killed for the ninth time, his knees had buckled and his head hit the uneven floor with great velocity, cracking his skull open. Blood flew out of the corners of his lips as his whole body began to shake into a state of shock... followed by death.
But that day, he didn't die.
Ash woke up, not to find himself in his bedroom, but a certain courtroom. With a lavish round table draped in expensive red velvet, like the rest of the room.
"You're not going crazy," a voice came from his behind.
Ash turned around, only to find himself face to face with his doppelgänger. He looked older, far too bulky and muscular. There was a certain level of maturity about the way he held himself, not to mention the heavy cape and the medieval outfit he was wearing.
"Who are you?" He asked.
The man shrugged, "You've seen me many times... I'm omega."
"Omega what?"
"The Unown, Ash Raider." Omega smiled, "I'm Eiran Raider, your ancestor."
"I'm not a Raider... I'm a Ketchum."
"You're a Raider," Omega took a seat at the round table, "much like I am."
"Yeah... I don't think so."
"No need to waste your energy on his frivolous debate," Eiran smiled, "you're the heir of the Raider Manor... you're a Raider. Despite what ever you call yourself."
Eiran didn't seem like a guy he wanted to argue with, Ash parted his eyes away from his crooked smile and looked around the lavish room.
The towering windows were only covered half in the curtains. Ash couldn't help but notice that there wasn't a sun outside the window, the light which came in was white.
"This place isn't real," Eiran said.
"I didn't ask."
"You didn't have to," Eiran got up, he tied his hands to his back and walked towards the gigantic window, "come here."
Ash hesitated to move, but the sternness in his eyes told him that he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
The raven-haired feebly looked out the window, only to see that there was nothing outside.
