There were people present on the landing pad to greet their arrival.

Although, Charlus had a feeling that the various scientists in lab coats were only there because of the omega unown. Most of them disappeared inside the building as soon as they handed over the case. The only ones left were Delia, Ailsa and his father, standing a foot away from his mother.

"Welcome back," greeted Ailsa as she extended her arm.

Charlus was about shake her hand when he realised she wasn't talking to him but Alain. He curled his hands into a fist and ran his fingers through his hair, acting aloof.

"Yeah, good to be back, Ailsa," Alain turned to face Delia, "Diane... I'm sorry I don't know who you are?"

He was talking to Samuel.

It wasn't a surprise to Charlus, his father had been excused from the Chamber long before the lot of them joined.

"Samuel Oak," he shook his hand.

Alain nodded, "Professor Oak," he said whimsical, "forgive me I didn't expect to seen you here."

Ailsa scoffed.

"Oh trust me neither did I," He laughed halfheartedly.

"Enough chitchatting," Grace vexed before anyone could say anything, "let's get inside, it's so fucking cold here!"

"Mind your fucking language!" Screamed Alisa.

Grace snickered beneath her breath out of the irony of the situation. She shivered violently as they walked inside.

As angry as Charlus was at Grace, he couldn't help but walk towards her and say, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be okay?" She bit his nose off.

"Because you're shivering and that's my thing."

She said some unpleasant words before storming in the front along with Alain. Seeing her peculiar behaviour, Delia stopped in her tracks and walked back towards Charlus.

"What's wrong with her?" She asked.

"It's Grace," he scoffed, "isn't it answer enough?"

She snickered, "What happened now?"

Charlus didn't say anything. If there was something Grace was hiding from him, Delia would've been the first to know and if she hadn't said anything till now, she wasn't on his side.

"You already know, don't you?"

Before she could answer, Chalrus walked away. Behind them, the quarrel of the Oaks was just getting started.

"Don't you dare leave me alone with your bickering parent!" She screamed but suddenly it seemed as if Charlus had lost all of his hearing power.

It took Delia and Samuel half an hour alone with the Unown to come to a conclusion.

"It can't be turned back," the two of them concluded in a conference room that had Grace, Charlus, Alain and of course Ailsa.

"What?" It took her sometime to process the information. "What do you mean by that?"

"Well it radiates no UER, it's not responding to any external stimulus. We keep the speed under 5 milimeter per second but even going incredibly fast it's no use." A sigh escaped her lips as she took out the unown relic, it was golden in colour and shaped like an omega. "If Gary hadn't seen it transform himself, I would've mistaken it for a rock."

Serveral thuds echoed in the air as she hit the unown several times on the table.

"Why is that?" Ailsa further asked.
