Kids streamed out of Ms. Helton's first grade classroom when the bell rang, signalling the end of the day.

The last one out was a little girl with her short hair in two black pigtails on either side of her head. She looked nervous as her large blue eyes flitted around anxiously, as if looking for someone; as the warm afternoon sun beat down upon the kids walking home with their parents.

Finally she spotted who she was looking for. It was a boy in her class, he had blonde hair that gleamed in the sun and green eyes that twinkled mischievously whenever he smiled. That wasn't the only reason that Gina liked him. Christopher Blake was charming, intelligent and talented for a boy his age, not to mention that he was born into an incredibly wealthy family.

He was standing a few feet away on the sidewalk. She took a deep breath and walked towards him quickly, hoping that she would reach him before her mother came to pick her up.

"Hi Chris, nice weather we're having, huh?" She began as her knees trembled and she smiled at him.

Christopher  ignored the girl as he looked around, hoping to spot his mother; who promised that she would pick him up that day.

Chris was the girl's first crush and she had finally decided to tell him her feelings. She was in love with him and she thought of him as perfect. All the emotions going through her heart about him was pure adoration and what the little girl believed was "love".

Her crush began on the first day of first grade and all of a sudden, when she saw him; time stopped and she couldn't stop looking at him. She became his ultimate stalker, observing everything he did in class. Her crush lasted all that time but little did she know, her love would crash to a grinding halt.

"Chris, did you hear me? I said-"

"Gina, nobody wants to hear your annoying voice so stop talking to me like we're friends, you ugly girl."Cut in the boy with a harsh voice, totally oblivious to her crushed feelings and dreams.

Suddenly, Gina was thrown into a cloud of confusion. Why was he being so mean to her even though she just wanted to talk?

She tried to respond,

"I-I...why would-"

Once again, she was cut off by the boy who insulted her. "Don't talk to me until you are able to put together a proper sentence, you should practice with your loser friend over there, Al."

He glared while pointing to Gina's best friend, Albert who was crying because of a scraped knee. Before Gina could defend her best friend, Chris strutted away from Gina, towards a person in a uniform who worked as a housekeeper at his home; and didn't Chris look back.

Gina stared at him as his figure got smaller and smaller while he walked away with the figure. Gina couldn't move, her eyes wide with unshed tears born of shock and pain. A feeling of gut wrenching horror ripped through Gina as her mind clouded with confusion and sadness.

Seeing her own mother, the little girl tried to keep herself together as she bid Al goodbye and went to her mom.

"Hello dear! How was your day at school?" Asked Gina's mother as she approached her daughter, oblivious to the sorrow that had befallen Gina. Gina didn't respond. She was too busy sorting through her feelings, trying to put them in order, when she found one that was too strong.

Her undying love for him evolved into a vengeful hate and it got her thinking. Thinking up a plan to make him pay for what he called her, because this girl was no ordinary girl. Gina could keep grudges deep within her for a very long time and she decided right at that moment, as her entire being seethed with hatred for the boy she once loved, that she would beat him in any way possible and make Chris' life a living Hell.
