Previously on Meet Me Here Tomorrow:

About 15 minutes later, Gina had gotten pretty close to the front and she was still observing her best friend and the girl. She finally reached the front of the line but she was still looking at her best friend.

"Welcome to Creamy King's Ice Cream Shop. What would you like?" A familiar voice asked.

Both the cashier and the customer were preoccupied with their line of vision but when Gina and the cashier looked at each other for the first time, their jaws dropped.

In unison they pointed and yelled.

"YOU!?!?!?"

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Christopher Blake gawked at the equally shocked looking girl across the counter. He was tired enough, dealing with the middle schoolers who tried to get his cell phone number, now he had to deal with the perpetually hateful Gina.

Automatically, he tore off his stupid looking hat with the banana mascot with tights, cape, crown and scepter embroidered on it and threw it behind him, the motion tousling his hair sexily across his forehead.

Gina stared. He stared back. Why do I have to deal with the king of Doofus Town now of all times? She chuckled at her new nickname for him. Then she grinned. "Does anyone know about your job here, Blake?" In response, Christopher turned a deep scarlet and began to stammer.

"I-I-I..."

"I suppose you haven't. Now, what would happen if people at school would mysteriously find out." Interrupted Gina, a sly smile spreading across her face like the Grinch's. She could use this piece of information to Christopher's social demise!

Everyone at their high school knew that Chris Blake had ultra, mega, rich parents so it would be shocking for them to find out that their beloved and popular basketball King worked at a place so uncool.

Feeling deflated with defeat, Chris asked in a tired voice "What's your order? You're kinda holding up the line." He gestured to the ever growing line behind Gina. "Oh! Um, three free ice creams." Gina quickly said, realizing that she had really been holding up the line.

"Wow, you can eat a lot. Such a fatty." Commented Chris on Gina even though she wasn't overweight in the slightest. "For your information, the other two ice creams are for Al and his date over there." Gina stated, matter-of-factly, his insult reminding her that she hated him.

Chris leaned over the counter to get a closer look. "Mila!?" He exclaimed. "Your loser best friend is dating my best friend!?" Chris was baffled. How could his awesome best friend fall for a guy like Albert Finn? In Chris' opinion, Albert was a buck toothed, brainiac wimp who peed on him.

"That "loser" is my best friend and if you want to keep your job a secret, you're going to have to be less prejudiced about people." Snarled Gina, her playful demeanour quickly dissipated as she took even more offence than she had at the fatty comment. "Just for that, you'll meet me here tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 pm."

"Tomorrow's a Saturday! No way I'm coming to do whatever dirty work you've got for me." Chris grumbled.

"Don't mumble. It's unattractive." Rebuked Gina.
Primly grasping the ice cream cones (and failing miserably), she turned and proudly walked towards her best friend and his date.

"Hey! Got you guys ice cream!" Smiled Gina welcomingly at the two by the door. "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Mila!" Smiled the pretty blond as Gina handed her an ice cream. "Albert was just telling me about his mom's garden gnome collection."

"Really? What do you think of it?" Gina questioned politely. It was time for the test. Was this Mila girl suitable for Albert? Gina glanced at Al. Just by looking at him, Gina could tell that he was hoping that Mila actually like him and was not just playing with his feelings.

Gina could tell through observing people if they were really good people or if they were two-faced jerks. Of course, her judging Mila is an act of hypocrisy due to what she had ordered Christopher not to do, but her best friend's feelings were at stake here! The time for judgement had arisen. Gina was the judge of Mila's future with Al.
