A day had passed since the kidnapping. Casiell, Yael, and Oliver were safely back home and the freaky spirit wasn't living in Casiell's home anymore which meant that she could live there again but there was a slight problem. Her whole apartment had been ruined.
The TV was broken and was smashed into the flooring, creating a spiral of cracks in the living room floor. The curtains were ripped apart and the furniture was scratched making it seem like a bear had been freeloading in the apartment. The bed was broken in half due to some unforseen circumstances that even Oliver didn't know how to explain.
And so Casiell found herself living with Yael and his best ghost friend again.
"UGH STUPID SPIRIT GUY!" Casiell groaned in frustration, "Why couldn't he atleast FIX the apartment before going?"
"He kidnapped you. You expect him to have any sort of manners?" Oliver said bluntly, crossing his arms.
Yael walked out of the kitchen with two cups of hot chocolate. He set them down on the table in front of Casiell and sat on the couch beside her.
"Here's some hot chocolate to make you forget about your sad old apartment," Yael offered.
Casiell took the warm cup and held it to her nose. The smell of hot chocolate made her imagine whether or not Yael's hair smelt as good as that.
Why am I thinking about how his hair smells? She thought.
She peered at Yael as he sipped on his hot chocolate. Slowly, she raised her arm and brought her hand towards his head, gently brushing his hair with her fingers.
He raised his head to look up at her with a look of embarrassment and confusion.
Casiell suddenly realised that she was playing with Yael's hair and jerked her hand away in surprise. She blushed and started sipping her hot chocolate.
"S-sorry I just- your hair just looked nice so-" Casiell murmured looking down at her coffee, trying not to make eye contact with Yael.
"I-its fine," Yael said quietly, sipping his hot chocolate.
Oliver rolled his eyes from the corner as he watched them being clueless and decided to spice things up.
He made himself invisible and floated beside Casiell.
"I like your hair, it smells so nice," Oliver whispered in Casiell's ear imitating Yael's voice.
Casiell blushed and quickly turned sideways to look at Yael who was sipping his drink.
"Really?" She aksed, her face red.
"Really what?" Yael asked, confused.
"You said my hair smells nice.."
"I did?"
"Seriously! Why do you keep doing this!"
"Keep doing what?"
"Stop playing with me Yael!" Casiell said angrily and stood up.
Oliver quietly watched from another corner and bit his teeth as he realized he may have made a mistake.
"Casiell what are you talking about- I didn't play with you!" Yael said looking up at her from the couch.
"You just- you keep saying stuff like this and i- it makes me feel really confused!" Casiell said, frustrated.
"What do you mean?"
Before anyone could say anything else there was a loud bang on the front door that caused everyone to jump.
"What was that?" Oliver asked.
"Let's go check," Yael offered, standing up and walking to the door cautiously.
He opened the door and there stood the friendly teenage ghost they had met earlier in the swords shop during their time in the ghost realm.
"OH MY GOD IT'S YOU!" Oliver screamed.
"Yes, hello, um I need to talk to hmm let's see..." The ghost boy said lazily and looked down at a list he was holding in his hand, searching for a name.
"...ah yes, Yael," The ghost boy continued.
"What?" Yael inquired, coming up to the door.
"You need to fill out a permit to be able to have that sword you guys bought last time," he answered glumly.
Casiell came up behind Yael but he moved away quickly when he noticed her behind him.
"Um so what do I have to fill? Let's get this over with," Yael said to the the ghost boy who took out a form.
He gave the form to Yael and he started to fill it. He looked at Casiell and Oliver who stood at the doorway.
"So what's the relationship between you- three," The ghost boy asked, amused.
Casiell turned red and started stuttering, "WHAT- NO ITS- IT'S N-NOT LIKE THAT!"
Oliver face palmed and shook his head in amusement as the ghost boy laughed.
"So um the paperwork ain't the only reason I'm here," The ghost said, suddenly turning serious.
"Then what is it?" Oliver inquired.
"I have to escape to the human realm. The Greater Spirit has put in a notice for me to be captured and held prisoner for selling illegal items," The Boy explained.
"WAIT- So you're selling illegal ghost killing swords?" Casiell asked, bewildered.
"Yes, and now I can't stay in the ghost realm anymore otherwise I might get killed by that stupid Greater Spirit," He continued.
"So what do you want?" Oliver asked, suspicious.
"I need a place to live," the boy said bluntly.
Casiell exchanged glances with Oliver while Yael was busy filling the 20 page form.
"You can stay at my apartment since I'm not staying there any longer- but it's kind of um ripped apart" Casiell offered.
"At this point anything will do," The boy said brightened by a ray of hope.
"So um what's your name?" Oliver asked him.
"Lucas," The boy answered.
"Oliver."
Yael turned to them and gave Lucas the form.
"Finally, done," he sighed.
"Lucas boy is gonna be staying in Cassy wassy's apartment because he's a criminal on the loose and the freaky Greater Spirit wants to kill him," Oliver explained to Yael who had been too busy filling the form earlier.
"Oh my God what the heck?" Yael gasped.
"Yes," Lucas nodded.
"That stupid creep better not come back here though," Casiell said, crossing her arms.
"Don't worry, even if he does I'll just slice him with my sword," Yael smirked.
Everyone laughed, trying to not think about the possible dangers of getting involved with Lucas and the spirit world.
