It was the morning after Lucas' arrival last night. He was now living in Casiell's rundown apartment, well more like hiding because that place wasn't really 'liveable'.

Meanwhile, in Yael's apartment, Oliver was shouting loudly trying to wake everyone up.

"WAKE UP!" Oliver screeched loudly in the living room.

"Ugh what's wrong?" Casiell groaned from the bedroom, awoken by Oliver's loud screeching.

"WE'RE OUT OF FOOD AREN'T WE?" Yael shouted, almost falling off the sofa.

"Yep, and that's why I think it's a good time for us all to get out of the house and go to the shops," Oliver said.

"The shops?" Casiell asked nervously, now out of the bedroom.

"Yeah let's go, I miss going outside and buying things from when I used to be alive," said Lucas, who somehow ended up in the apartment.

"Oh hey Lucas," Oliver grinned, "You can join us too."

"Alright everyone, get ready, I guess we're gonna go out," Yael ordered.

Casiell stood at the door, nervous because she hadn't stepped outside in months. Maybe this was a way for her to overcome her fears, she thought and went to get ready.

All four of them walked into the supermarket quietly. It was mostly empty because of how early in the morning it was, so Casiell didn't feel too anxious.

"Me and Lucas are gonna go fetch the other things, you guys go get the cereal and food stuff," Oliver said, grabbing Lucas' arm and running towards the opposite isles.

Casiell and Yael were left all alone to get some groceries. Casiell looked at Yael who shrugged and walked along with her to the vegetable isles.

"I wanted to ask you something, Cas," Yael said, walking.

"Hm?" Casiell looked up at him.

"Do you, like, have something that doesn't trigger your curse?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well you said how you turn into a half demon when you get too emotional, and I was just thinking that there might be something that doesn't trigger the curse, like an immunity thing," Yael explained.

Casiell became quiet for a while and then said, "I've actually...never thought about that!"

"Like what If there's something that just stops you from triggering it?" Yael asked, excited.

"Maybe- Maybe like a new feeling that counters it?"

"If that's true then I hope that you can find it."

Casiell looked up at Yael who was smiling brightly at her, with hope and wonder. She felt like someone else everytime she was with him. It was something she couldn't explain. A new feeling.

Yael's eyes looked like a thousand tiny fragments yelling at her with joy. What was it about him that just made her feel so attracted. Maybe she wasn't used to the feeling of being this close to someone.

"I'm thankful to you Yael, you have changed my life a lot and for the better," Casiell said in awe.

He held her hand and said, "I'm glad I came into your life."

"You know, I felt scared that you'd get freaked out and stay away from me after you found out about the curse but you did the opposite...it made me feel so special."
