Todoroki's Pov.
"Yes... How are you aware of this..?" Todoroki questioned.
"I just know," she replied, "And my answer is you probably won't."
"Wait... what..?" Todoroki didn't know if he heard her right.
"You probably won't get over your feelings," she elaborated, "Not easily at least."
He had to though... He couldn't have these dragging him down! They needed to go.
"How do I get rid of them?" Todoroki tried again.
"I think the best way for you to resolve this is to accept your crush and then tell her about it," Ashido advised, "She's the one who whacked you with a broom, remember?"
"Is there a way to stop these feelings?" Todoroki questioned.
"I guess there's one way I can think of off the top of my head. But there's no way I'm telling you!" Ashido put her hands on her hips and seemed kind of angry.
"Why?" Todoroki countered.
"Reasons," Ashido crossed her arms.
"Is this tactic of yours making her hate me somehow?" Todoroki questioned. He was probably right.
"Yes..." she sighed, "If she hates you, she'll probably stay clear away from you and you won't have to worry about her coming near you, but if it comes to that it might really hurt her, so I can only hope you won't do this..."
"I don't want her to hate me either," Todoroki said, "But these feelings are holding me back."
"Then embrace them," Ashido told him, "Tell her about this instead. Also, you guys are so cute together!"
He blushed and turned his head hastily.
"No we aren't," Todoroki argued, "I'm not even a good friend to her..."
That was when he started coughing again and then a hibiscus petal left his mouth. He couldn't stop it and Ashido saw...
When he looked back at Ashido, he realized her face was twisted with horror.
"Okay, you need to confess immediately," the acid-quirked girl declared, "If not you're literally going to die."
"What are you going on about?" Todoroki pondered.
"You have Hanahaki, and if you don't do anything about this soon, you'll die," Ashido told him, "I've never seen this case with a male before... But I know it's possible..."
"Wait, what do you mean "before"?" Todoroki asked, "So you've cured people with Hanahaki?"
"Technically no, I helped them along. But they confessed almost immediately after I told them about Hanahaki," she explained, "I have a feeling that it's going to take you longer to be cured because of how dense you are, but you'll make it if I help you."
"How do I know you're just saying this? I know you have motives to get us together," Todoroki reasoned. Then blushed.
"The whole reason I made a deal with Cupid to have bush teleporting powers where the Shipping Sense is strong enough in exchange for the ability to fall in love was for people like you," Ashido poked him in the chest with an annoyed look in her eye. "The whole reason I try to get people that like each other together is so Hanahaki doesn't happen in the first place! I can help you, so I will."
He was extremely confused now. What was this about Cupid? Or was she just making this up? He couldn't tell. It was probably a lie, but she sounded serious, so he went along with it.
"I'm going to think this over," Todoroki left her there.
Momo's Pov.
"What do you think we should do now?" she asked Iida. Everyone without a job just stood in the middle of the campsite. She knew that they had to purify water, but she still wanted to help even if she was exhausted from creating the many objects from today and yesterday.
"Well..." Iida started, "We still need clean water to drink, so most of us need to focus on that today, or probably the rest of time we spend here."
Momo nodded. She didn't know if Iida wanted her to help with the water or now though.
"I guess everyone except Midoriya and Uraraka," Iida thought aloud, "Oh yeah, and Mineta."
"Wait, why not us?" Uraraka asked.
"There's enough of us to get a good amount of clean water," Iida explained, "You should probably focus on something else."
The pair nodded and then started walking away. Mineta sighed and walked away too. She was glad Iida saved her from Mineta being in her group.
"Yaoyorozu, be on standby in case we need anymore pots or sieves," Iida told her, and she sat down on a bench.
"Everyone else needs to start helping me fill the pots with water," Iida instructed. Bakugo grumbled about it but went with everyone else to fill the water.
They came back with the three pots filled.
"Todoroki," Iida turned to the red and white haired boy, "Boil the water."
Todoroki nodded silently and then dipped his left hand in each of them to make them all boil, then he went around in a circle. After about a minute, Iida stopped him.
"Make another pot Yaoyorozu, so we can store clean water," Iida ordered her.
She nodded and then everyone stared at her again.
"Are you going to turn around..?" she wondered. She started fidgeting nervously. There was so many more of them than just Todoroki and Iida like before.
This time she just created one out of her stomach.
Momo wasn't hungry yet, but she probably was going to be by the end of the day.
They strained the water through the microporous sieve and they had clean water. The only problem was that it was still boiling. It was an easy fix though. Todoroki could just put ice in it to cool it down.
She make a bunch of plastic containers. These were much easier to make than metal.
"What are you doing?" Iida questioned.
"To divide the water. It will be easier to transport and distribute in this," Momo explained, and then poured water in each. She was excited for lunch now...
