Todoroki's Pov.

"Oh... I guess the situation in the book is a little... Complicated... And I'm not sure I want to read it yet," Yaoyorozu told him.

Strange... How could a situation in a book make you feel so uncomfortable..? Should he read the book once they returned to the dorms? Maybe it would help him understand her a little better... Or would that be strange? Would that be as strange as that sleepover at Ashido's house..?

He felt his face heat up and turned away from Yaoyorozu after realizing he had been staring.

"What do you mean?" he wondered. Maybe he could just get a summary of the situation and not have to read the book. But... Perhaps this had something to do with her embarrassment from the bus ride? Her face had turned red when he asked about it.

"Never mind... But there's something else I wanted to talk to you about," Yaoyorozu dodged the question.

"Hm?" he glanced over to her.

"I was thinking... Wouldn't it just be easier to use your ice for the water?" she questioned.

  "Probably," Todoroki nodded his head.

Were they all stupid? How come not one person thought of this before Yaoyorozu..? Why hadn't he thought of this..? Didn't he create that pillar of ice the other day? That one that surprised Yaoyorozu so much she spilled water on herself...

He really shouldn't be talking to her right now... It would only make everything worse for both of them. Why did he even walk over in the first place anyway? These feelings need to fade away.

"We can talk about this later," he excused himself.

After abandoning Yaoyorozu, Todoroki took a walk. Perhaps it could clear his head.

"You know that you're only making everything worse for yourself and Momo," Ashido's annoying voice came from behind him.

"Will you just go away?" Todoroki glared at her after turning around, "Somehow you keep getting more and more irritating."

"Well, I just wanted to explain something to you," she nodded her head.

"Fine. Make it quick," he told her.

"Welp, let me make it clear to you now when you get Hanahaki you feel the urge to kiss and touch the person you have a crush on, so yeah," Ashido said, "Oh yeah! And it'll turn into more and more of an addiction until you either kiss her or resist to the point until you die. Anyway-"

"Wait a minute, so you're saying that I'll turn into a Mineta in a matter of three weeks?" this couldn't be happening. Nope. He'd rather resist until he died rather than this. there was no way.

"Yeah... Another reason I try not to let people get Hanahaki," Ashido jumped down from her tree, "If I don't get the others together soon, they'll meet the same fate. Which is the whole freaking reason why I do this!"

"Just leave me alone," Todoroki told her, and she listened for once.

He felt more petals rush up his throat and he knelt over for the many petals to spew out.

"Momo Yaoyorozu... What are you doing to me?"

Momo's Pov.

Did Todoroki walk over to ask her about her book just to leave..? Was he okay? Maybe he didn't like her idea for the water... After all, it might just make him overuse his quirk... It wasn't fair for him to do this... Was it? No... If Todoroki's could pull off his immense wall of ice, surely he could produce ice for water and then melt it, right?

  "Yaoyorozu."

She turned around to see Tokoyami.

"Hm? What is it Tokoyami?" Momo wondered.

"Are you able to trade out the blankets for waterproof material?" Tokoyami questioned.

"Oh... Yeah, I should do that," she nodded her head, "I'll have to tell Iida about this so that the others know I won't be creating new materials to store water."

"I'll wait here," Tokoyami informed her while she stood up.

Iida was over by the others.

"Yaoyorozu, where have you been?" Iida said this in an interrogative voice.

"Sorry, I lost track of time," she lied. She didn't like to lie... But Momo didn't exactly want to tell Iida what was really going on. It was already early midday and she hadn't done anything to help with the water... Why was she so selfish? "So, today I'll have to work with Tokoyami today for the tents so I can replace the blankets."

"I'll make sure the others do different jobs today," Iida told her.

"Also, I had a better idea to collect water. It would mean fewer people would have to work on this job," she spoke quickly.

"What is it?" the Class Representative pondered.

"Todoroki could use his ice to make ice and then melt it," she explained, "Then it would only require me, him, and maybe another person."

"Yes... That sounds like a good idea," Iida remarked, "Tomorrow we can start that."

"I should go meet Tokoyami now, I'll see you later," Yaoyorozu excused herself to go back to the fire.

Once she walked back, they started talking.

"Alright, I'm back," Yaoyorozu notified Tokoyami.

"Let's get started," Tokoyami walked over to the tent on the far left. She assumed that they would work their way around the tents, "If you could make this as least noticeable as you can, that would be good so that no one needs to question what happened to the blankets."

Momo nodded and created a similar material that appeared to be the blankets except slightly shinier. This improvement would also be good to keep the warm air inside the tent rather than let it drift out. She just made a small sample so that Tokoyami could either veto it, or they could use it.

"Is this okay?" she wondered as she handed it to Tokoyami.

"Yes, this will be good," he agreed.

After that, she created bigger versions and they both replaced them all. Surprisingly, it was easier than she thought it would be, but she was still draining her energy.

By the time it was dinner, everything was done. And she was thankful she was able to eat something.
