Todoroki's Pov.

He glanced at Yaoyorozu when she moved to ring out her hair. Why did it take so long for it to dry out? What it because she had a lot of hair? Well... He couldn't help dry it out because that would've been really strange, but also because he might burn her hair instead of actually helping... How come Midoriya could help Uraraka so well, but then he failed at it?

He didn't give her the book back after the bus ride, he had burned her shirt, she slept on his right side two nights ago and was probably freezing, and now he couldn't even help her with his..?

Todoroki let out an inaudible sigh. Was there a way he could help her at all?

"I can't help with the water after this," Yaoyorozu spoke, snapping him out of his thoughts.

  "Why is that?" Todoroki questioned.

"I need to help replace the blankets to a waterproof material. Preferably before the day is over," Yaoyorozu informed him.

She was already so tired of all the things she had created thus far... How could she do this to herself?

"I know what you're thinking... It's what mostly everyone is thinking..." Yaoyorozu let out a breath, "I'm overworking myself and I need to take a break. However..."

She stood up with a determined look in her eye.

"I need to do this for everyone else, to make it easier for all of you,"  Yaoyorzu told him. "As Vice Class Representative, it's my job."

"But you've worked harder than all of us already," Todoroki argued.

"That's my choice," Yaoyorozu told him. "It probably isn't the best, but I'm going to do this whether you like it or not!"

Todoroki couldn't but let the corners of his mouth turn up a little. He liked seeing her fired up like this, especially after the midterms.

"I'm not going to stand in your way then," Todoroki said.

That was when they heard the cheers of three people not far behind them.

He paid more attention to the conversation and heard Ashido, Hagakure, Tsu, and Kaminari talking.

Todoroki glanced at Yaoyorozu and they nodded at the same time before racing to the situation.

"Maybe he didn't deserve death..." Jiro's voice was much clearer now that they were closer.

Todoroki saw that Mineta was laying on the ground. He seemed to be buzzing with electricity and Kaminari was standing near him. Had he murdered Mineta?

"What do you think happened?" Yaoyorozu wondered as they stopped running and just walked over.

Todoroki couldn't tell if she was relieved or disappointed that Mineta was dead. Perhaps both?

"I didn't kill him, I just knocked him out," Kaminari told them, and everyone just seemed disappointed. Todoroki was kind of disappointed too. After all, he didn't leave Yaoyorozu alone.

"I didn't want him dead, but I'm really happy that he's unconscious!" Jiro nodded her head.

That was when Kaminari said something to Jiro, but he couldn't hear what it was.

"No, I want you to leave permanent damage, and yeah, I guess I kinda do want him dead, but I don't want him coming for us later," Jiro explained so that they could all hear.

Momo's Pov.

When she saw Mineta dead on the ground, she wasn't sure what to think. Was she happy? Disappointed she wasn't able to kill him herself? No... Maybe neither of those things... Okay, there might've been a chance she was happy that Mineta was dead... But this also means that a student died on her watch! What would the teachers think? Would she get in trouble?

"I didn't kill him, I just knocked him out," Kaminari told them.

Momo sighed a little bit in relief. At least he wouldn't be dead on her watch. Just unconscious. She was happier with that outcome. But did she want him dead? Maybe. But he did somehow make it into the hero course. That meant he still had a sliver of potential... Right?

"I didn't want him dead, but I'm really happy that he's unconscious!" Jiro nodded her head.

Momo felt her head move up and down slightly in agreement with Jiro. Then she snapped out of it and started back over to the fire. Her hair was still soaking wet...

She spotted her book, still left on the bench. She must've forgotten it while running over to the others. She was happy to see that no one took it, though no one was going to steal her book out of her class anyway.

She opened up to the page she left off and sighed after realizing that this was right after the failed confession. Momo didn't think that was going to happen... After all...

But those words were the first things that she spotted on the page. And just like on the bus, she slapped it closed. She didn't think she could read it. Not after that... Maybe she could pick up there once she had enough courage.

Momo didn't want to use the same words that Mina and Toru said when they saw a pairing they liked, but she thought that this was the only way to describe what she felt in this situation. Momo shipped these characters a lot. She thought that they made a good pairing. Apparently, the male character thought the opposite... Why though? Didn't he admit to the main character's best friend that he liked her?

She sighed, seeing as she wasn't going to be able to read this book today. And she was so excited to do so too...

"Yaoyorozu," she heard a voice behind her and turned her head to see Todoroki.

"Hm? What is it, Todoroki?" she wondered.

"Aren't you going to read your book? You seemed excited to get it back," he noted. She blinked in surprise. It wasn't like Todoroki to ask anything that wasn't imperative towards the situation.

"Oh... I guess the situation in the book is a little... Complicated... And I'm not sure I want to read it yet.
