It's a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie). It is after the events of the movie when Rapunzel is going to become officially a princess. Feeling overwhelm with that and her father watching every move of her and Eugene proposed to her in front of everything she had to get some air. Cassandra helped her to sneak out. They found these rocks left behind from the flower that saved Rapunzel and her mother's life. These rocks gave her back her long blond hair but this time you can't cut it. They tried to hide it but couldn't. Luckily the hair came in handy when bad guys came to the castle for revenge. Even though she saved the day and prove she can take care of herself her father is still going to be over protective. This is lead to the series.
