Last week I finally get to visit the Worcester Public Library. I haven't gone inside it since the Pandemic started. I have heard they made some changes to the library and that it looks different then the last time I was there. Of course Ginny had been in there when they finally open again but since I live in Oxford now it's not always easy for me to go. After I became friends with Jeff again we finally went to Webster. Me, Jeff, and Ginny. I been wanting to go to Webster and see a few places in a long time. The first place we went was the Webster library so I thought I just have to check out the other libraries. Oxford library have also done some work and I went there one day with just Jeff so he showed me around. The Webster library was better because it was bigger and I love the outside of where it is too. The Oxford Library was still cool though.
Then I went into the Auburn library with Casey and it was just a regular library. Nothing too impressive and only a few picture worthy. Just one room with a separate children's room. Then last week I went to the Worcester Library with Jeff and Ginny. Casey did came for a few minutes. I couldn't believe the changes. Ginny gave us a tour and at the end we were in the DVD/CD/Video games room. Ginny saw Queen of Katwe on DVD and show it to me. I got excited because I been wanting to see it since it first came out. It's a true story about a girl who learns chess in Katwe, Uganda. I didn't think that it could be on Disney+. I check it out through the self check out and we left.
I watched this movie with my mom Saturday and I thought it was good and inspirational. There was this guy that was teaching these kids how to play chess. A lot of them can't afford to go to school. My favorite line was when a girl say to the girl that is learning how to play chess say "It's a game where the small one can become the big one." I looked up Chess. The Paurn is the only piece that ones when it gets to the other side it can be promoted to one of the higher pieces including the Queen. I thought that was cool. I don't know how to play Chess myself.
