The following day, Arleigh Granger awoke with a goofy grin on her dry and pale lips, recalling her previous night with Harry, watching the stars together. A soft sigh escaped her pursed mouth and then she sat straight.
"Don't you seem happy?" Chuckled Tonks as she entered the bedroom with a smirk.
"I somewhat am, actually" smiled even wider Leigh and winked at the metamorphmagus.
"May I know why?" The pink haired woman replied, "You figured you're not catching a cold, hopefully, yes?"
The Granger witch quickly pulled her blanket over her face, covering her now crimson cheeks. She let out however a soft giggle while doing so.
"You were right, Tonks!" She exclaimed, her face still hidden under her covers, "But if you dare to tell anyone that, I swear to Godric-"
"Merlin, Leigh, calm down!" Chuckled Nymphadora, rolling her friend's covers down, "I won't tell anyone, though almost everyone already knows it"
A loud knock made the witches' heads snap towards the doorway, where Sirius Black stood with an annoyed expression.
"Arleigh, Snivel-Snape would like a word" he announced and bit on his tongue
"Snape is here?" Confused the blue eyed teen and got up from her bed, quickly choosing something plain to wear and rushing to the restroom.
"Indeed, he needs to speak with you and Harry" explained Sirius
After Arleigh had put on a pair of skinny jeans and a green shirt, she slid on her tennis shoes and descended the stairs with the animagus by her very side.
Potter and Snape were standing in the kitchen awkwardly, awaiting for the Granger to join in.
"Good morning," she greeted as she yanked open the fridge, pulling a bottle of milk out, "Professor, Potter"
Severus gave her an hint of curled up lip, "It is the Headmaster's wish I teach you, Potter, Occlumency. You, Granger, are here to improve your Legilimency and Occlumency skills for professor Dumbledore mentioned you managed to keep himself out of your head" he declared
"What's that?" Furrowed his brows in confusion the raven haired teen
"It is an ancient form of magic that allows you to defend your mind from external intrusion" explained Leigh quickly, gaining a curt nod from the professor and an "hum" from the chosen one.
"We begin at six o'clock on Monday," continued Severus, "you presumably don't mind learning together"
The two teenagers nodded their heads and then the former slytherin rushed away, followed by Sirius, who seemed to be rather bothered by the conversation his godson and him had just had.
Leigh let out a sigh before pouring some milk in her glass and then putting the bottle back in the fridge, Harry kept his glance fixed on her with a proud grin playing on his lips.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Potter?" Narrowed her eyes Arleigh as she sipped her beverage.
"I honestly don't understand how can you think so little of yourself, truly" rambled the boy who lived out of nowhere, causing the girl knit her brows together in confusion.
"Where is that coming from?" She scoffed softly
"You heard Snape, right?" Began Harry, at which Leigh nodded to, "You literally managed to defend your mind from the greatest wizard of all time! Do you realize how impressive that is?"
A chuckle escaped her pinky lips as she noticed how unbelievably cute Potter seemed while rambling about her being better than she thought of herself, which might actually be true, though she wasn't exactly paying complete attention. She was just enjoying the sound of his voice.
"I haven't actually thought about it that way," she shrugged her shoulders, "it was honestly just luck"
Harry ran an hand through his dark messy hair, causing it to shift into a messier position. Leigh giggled at him again and tried as well to fix his hair, failing miserably, however.
"I simply messed it up more, didn't I?" He sighed in defeat.
"Oh would you look at them, Georgie?" Exclaimed Fred as the twins entered the kitchen with their usual cocky grins
"Are they not the cutest?" Added George, sliding his arm over Arleigh's shoulders in a protectively way.
She elbowed his ribs, making him back off slightly, giggling, and she distanced herself from the trio of boys.
"Aw, did we offend Lily, Georgie?"
The cobalt eyed witch showed them her middle finger while she winked at Harry, whose cheeks immediately flushed a crimson red. She then went to her bedroom and locked the door shut, though that of course didn't stop the twins from apparating inside without permission.
Leigh growled under her breath as she folded her arms over her pounding chest.
"Well?" She bounced her foot on the floor, "What do you lot want?"
The gingers smirked as they locked eyes, then they both hopped on her bed with their chests facing the mattress.
"For you to admit-"
"-what is going on between you and lightning downstairs"
Her big blue eyes widened immediately, she however quickly recovered her emotionless face.
"Well, then you may leave because there is honestly nothing to admit" she stated and adjusted her glasses on her nose, she hadn't really been wearing her lenses for weeks now and she was getting used to the feeling of the cold fabric on her nose.
Fred wiggled his eyebrows and playfully smudged his brother's arm with his elbow, "Sure there isn't"
"Because we're thick enough to not notice you lot staring all hearty eyed at each other," scoffed George.
"Oh please, do I look like somebody who would do such an emotional thing?" Rolled her eyes Arleigh, "Besides, even if something was indeed happening, it would be none of your business"
"Did you hear that, Freddie? She's getting defensive" cockily grinned George as he winked at his brother.
"Sounds very fishy, doesn't it, Georgie?"
"Are you lot for real, right now?" Exclaimed the witch
"Are we ever?" Both of the twins replied in unison, causing Leigh to groan loudly.
"You two are going to be the death of me!"
"Oh no, we would never want you to die, Lily" winked the elder Weasley
"Then, who would help us with our pranks?" Continued the other one with a goofy smirk playing on his lips.
