Arleigh didn't sleep that night, she forced herself not to actually. She didn't want to see Cedric's death again for the millionth time if not more. Hence, she decided to spend her whole night on a tree in the backyard, well hidden from everyone, and reading a book her sister had bought her for her birthday.
From her weirdly enough comfortable spot on a branch, she could see everything that was going on inside the house from the windows.
However, her spot wasn't that well hidden, since Harry could easily see her reading as her dark glasses slowly slid off of her nose and she adjusted them again. A goofy grin appeared on his thin lips as he simply stared at her, it was the only thing that relaxed him enough to not make him worry about the disciplinary the following day.
"You shouldn't stare, Harry," smirked a voice, "women don't like it"
The raven haired wizard turned around, alarmed about who might've caught him staring at Arleigh, and smiled when he saw his godfather.
"I-I wasn't st-staring at anyone" he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly
"Sure you weren't" winked Sirius and joined him at the window, noticing Leigh as well.
The animagus glanced at his godson with a warm grin, realizing something that Harry himself didn't acknowledge yet.
"She's one complicate woman" he chuckled and smudged the younger's shoulder slightly
"She is" Potter lovingly grinned to himself
"You got yourself one bloody challenge, son"
"Yeah, I-no wait, what?" Confused the chosen one, causing Black to only smirk wider.
"You should get some sleep, Harry" declared Padfoot and left.

It was around 8:30 am that Leigh jumped off the tree and landed not too gracefully on her feet. A sigh escaped her lips as she gathered her belongings, which consisted of her book, parchment, quill and ink, and then she jogged back into the house.
Mrs and Mr Weasley, Lupin, Ronald, Hermione and Ginny were standing at the end of the staircase, looking rather anxious, causing the cobalt eyed witch to knit her brows together.
"What's going on?" She questioned and Molly immediately smiled at her
"Merlin, Arleigh, where have you been all night?!" She worried and pulled her into a bone-crashing hug
"I was reading outside" explained Leigh, motioning towards the now finished book in her hands
Soon after, the stairs began cracking, signaling somebody was descending them. That somebody being Harry Potter and his godfather.
Sirius addressed Arleigh and smiled at her before turning his attention to the boy beside him, who seemed rather nervous.
"Morning, dear!" Greeted Mrs Weasley, approaching the boy she liked to consider her own son, "Did you have a good sleep?"
Potter sighed, "Not completely, my scar kept burning"
The younger Granger felt her heart making its way in her throat as she remembered Harry struggling because of the burning of his scar just before Voldemort and Peter joined them at the graveyard.
Lupin glanced at Molly, who looked at him as well, and they seemed rather nervous. They know something else, thought Arleigh. Then the ginger haired woman embraced the blue eyed boy.
"Probably just nerves.." she lied and he gazed at the light brown haired girl worryingly.
"Yeah...n-nerves" added Potter and pulled away from his best friend's mother
Just then, Hermione jumped forward and hugged her friend strongly.
"They'll have to let you off, Harry..." she rambled, "You were defending yourself! I checked the laws"
"Thanks, Hermione" forced a grin Harry
"What does he get a hug for?!" Exclaimed Ronald, eyeing the older Granger
"When you have to go to a disciplinary hearing at the Ministry of Magic," folded her arms the bushy haired, "I'll hug you too"
The two of them began bickering, however the raven haired wasn't exactly paying attention, for he was approaching Leigh with a soft smile playing on his lips. Arleigh gripped his hand and dragged him a little away from the others.
"You had a dream, didn't you?" She suddenly worried, without letting go of his hand, and he nodded.
Leigh squeezed his hand, letting him know that she was there with him and that, even though she couldn't see what he did, she understood what he was going through.
"You want to talk about it?" She continued
"Not really" muttered Harry and she nodded
Then the witch pulled him into a long embrace, wrapping her arms around his neck, while his were around her back.
"Good luck, Harry" she smiled and gently kissed his cheek, making him cockily grin.
"Who would've thought, huh?" He smirked
"What are you on about?"
"Who would've thought we would become friends.." Potter bit into his bottom lip, debating if to add something very dangerous for his safety or shut up.
He chose for the first, however.
"..and you would've fancied me" he rambled before running away
"HARRY POTTER!" She shouted, "COME BACK IN HERE, YOU LITTLE PIECE OF S-"
"Watch that tongue, young lady!" Hissed Remus, grinning
Leigh, however, couldn't hide the slight hint of blush that appeared on her pale cheeks. While the boy who lived, scarily, approached mr Weasley and the two of them left to head towards the Ministry, with the teen looking more flushed than usual.

"I knew it!" Exulted Ronald after Harry and Mr Weasley had gotten back at Grimmauld Place
Arleigh stared at the raven haired with her arms crossed over her chest, still shocked and shaken by his words from earlier. She was a very touchy person, therefore she was going to make him pay for making her not only uncomfortable but for making her blush. Arleigh Granger doesn't blush.
Fred, George and Ginny began dancing and singing, trotting around the house, it almost reminded Leigh of when the twins chanted for Krum at the Quidditch World Cup, her lips immediately shifted into a frown as she remembered about Cedric.
"Settle down, you three!" Ordered Mr Weasley, eyeing the three red heads, who groaned and settled down eventually
Potter smiled widely, even though he still was a bit scared of how Arleigh would react as she landed her eyes on him again, and he approached her.
"I got off!" He smirked
"Glad to know that, Potter" winked the blue eyed witch and trotted away.
The boy who lived watched her go in confusion as to what he had done wrong that time, causing Ron to reach his side and pat his shoulder.
"You're back at the beginning now, mate" goofily smirked the ginger, "Good luck now"

Arleigh was lying on her bed with her chest facing the ceiling as she threw back forth a tennis ball. She remembered one time when she was five where she was playing basketball with her muggle friend and involuntarily broke his window. A giggle escaped her lips at the memory, she missed being that light-hearted.
A knock at her door caught her attention, though she was too lazy to get up and yank it open.
"Come in" she simply replied
Tonks entered and popped on the bed beside the younger witch.
"Are you going to hide here until you guys need to leave?" Suggested the metamorphmagus, raising her brows
"Yup" shortly mumbled Leigh, gazing for a split second at the other witch
"Okay, then"
Nymphadora got comfortable and lay completely on the teen's bed.
"Ehm...what the bloody hell are you doing?" Confused Arleigh
"Getting comfortable to stay here until you talk to me" winked the Auror
"There's nothing to talk about"
"Oh, really? You randomly start acting cold towards somebody, is that it?"
The Granger scoffed loudly and sat up straight, narrowing her eyes at Tonks.
"I'm cold by nature, Tonks" folded her arms above her chest the blue eyed
"Not with Potter" pointed out Nymphadora, "and sometimes with your cousin"
"I don't want to talk about Hermione, you bloody well know why"
"Then why did you avoid Harry?"
"Wha-I didn't avoid him" replied in an high pitched voice the muggleborn, causing Tonks to raise an eyebrow, "I simply hadn't anything else to say to him"
