𝐸𝒸𝒸𝑒𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓈𝒾𝒶𝓈𝓉 (Harry Potter X Reader) [2]

Exams

All of the fifth years were seated in the Great Hall, which had previously been emptied of the large tables, in order to host the O.W.L.s exams.
Arleigh had her leg bouncing up and down under her desk as she quickly scribbled on her paper; in front of her, Ghaya was staring around her, almost hoping to find the answers of her exam written on one of the walls of the room. Alex was sitting behind Leigh and was vigorously writing on her parchment as well.
A few weeks had passed since Arleigh and Harry shared their first kiss and they hadn't exactly discussed it, not even close. Nor had they had more, for she was more than anxious about the upcoming exams and spent almost all of her time studying at the library, where Harry would punctually go and, accidentally of course, remain with her. Thankfully for her, Fred and George hadn't found out about the kiss yet, or they would've pestered her about it on a daily basis. Leigh had, however, told Hermione about it, for Harry himself would've at some point.
Out of reflex, her cobalt eyes drifted to Potter, who was writing on his paper quickly, a grin placed itself on her lips. Arleigh had been helping him study as well as Ronald and she was happy they were both answering the questions of their exam.
Then, the boy who lived began shifting uncontrollably in his seat, worrying Leigh to death. He immediately slammed his fingers on his scar and tried to calm its pain and burning feeling, though it didn't help one bit.
Harry found himself falling from his seat and Professor Marchbanks rushed immediately to him, helping him stand, and they both exited the hall right after.
The younger Granger quickly finished her test, eyed her cousin, who was doing her exact same thing, and put away her enchanted quill. A few more moments had passed and their professor got back to the hall, and she therefore stood up and handed him her exam. Hermione and Ron following her actions afterwards, then the three of them joined Harry outside.
"You alright?" Concerned the ginger and the raven haired shook his head.
"Voldemort! He's got Sirius!" Explained Potter, pacing back and forth, "In the Department of Mysteries!"
Hermione and Arleigh locked eyes for a split second.
"How do you know?" Questioned the older witch
"I just saw it" mumbled Harry as his face became pale and glanced outside through the opened door, "How're we going to get there?"
"To the Department of Mysteries?" Confused Ron, arching his brows
"We've got to do something!" Exclaimed the other boy
"But, Harry," calmly spoke Leigh, "how'd Voldemort get into the Ministry of Magic without being seen? I-I mean, him and Sirius are the most wanted wizards in the world"
"Yeah, they can't just waltz into the Ministry of Magic!" Ronald agreed with her statement
"It seems so unlikely, Harry" added Hermione
The chosen one ran an hand through his messy dark hair and slightly glared at the three of them.
"I will not let Sirius die!" He affirmed as Luna, Ginny and the twins turned the corner, joining the quartet.
"We heard Harry yelling," announced the redhead girl, "what's up?"
"Voldemort's broken into the department of Mysteries, he's got Sirius there" worryingly estimated Harry, "He could already have the weapon!"
"Think about it, Harry" argued Leigh, "Voldemort knows you! He knows you'd rush off to save Sirius!"
"There isn't anyone else, Arleigh!" Pointed out Potter, "Everyone of the Order is gone"
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Said Ginny
"No, there isn't!" He yelled and she folded her arms over chest, slightly hurt by his words, narrowing her eyes at him.
"Yes, there is" whined Hermione
"How?"
The two Grangers shared a knowing look and smiled slightly.
"Before we do anything, we honestly need to establish that Sirius isn't actually at the Headquarters." Began Leigh
"Which means we'll need to break into Umbridge's office" continued her cousin and they both glanced at the twins.
"For that, we'll need a really good distraction" smirked Arleigh
"Right you are, Lily" grinned Fred, "Think we can whip something up, George?"
"Might be able to" smirked as well George
"Just give us a few seconds"
"Mind you, it's got to be really good" exclaimed Hermione
"I might've just gotten an idea that will outdo everything that you lot have ever done combined" winked the cobalt eyed witch and approached the twins, whispering in their ears her idea, causing both of them to smirk widely.
"We'll also need to keep everyone out of her office" added the bushy haired
"Luna and I'll guard the hallway!" Grinned Ginny and Hermione did as well
"You've got ten minutes to get to the office," assured Fred after his friend had explained her idea to him and his twin, "whatever you do, stay away from the Astronomy tower for the next couple of hours"
"Unless they spread, in which case I'd get out of the castle for a while" chimed in George and then they both left.
Then Hermione turned and faced her best friend, "Break out your invisibility cloak, Harry"
