Jungkook smiles as he sees the top of the castle come into view through the trees. As much as he loved being with Taehyung alone, he missed the pack dearly and his family. The past four days the only thing the two focused on was nursing the Alpha back to health. He is much better, a few random pains here and there, but he can say with a 100% certainty he is never ever taking a Neutralizer again.
He also knows that his mate silently gloats an 'I told you so' by the way he will send looks. He never openly said, just for the simple fact that Taehyung knows how painful it feels. Jungkook's throat is still sore, he sounds like he is getting over a cold, but thanks to his mate and the honey chamomile tea, it sounds much better than when they started the treatment.
The young Omega smiles looking over at Jungkook, he is happy to be back as well. He enjoyed the cabin, but much like his mate, he missed the pack as well. The silence was welcoming, but his days did not feel complete without the hustle and bustle of the pack or the laughter of his friends and soon to be family.
The two know that now, they have to hit the ground running on trying to get Shein and anyone involved in the trafficking ring behind bars. They know it will not be an easy task, that they are going to have to make something out of nothing, but they also know that they are not alone. They have multiple people in their corner ready to fight this fight. Ready for the main battle.
"I can't wait to lay in our bed. I've missed it so much." Jungkook states as they turn down the road to their drive. A lot of the wolves that are out and about smile and wave as the car drives past them. "We have to unpack first." Taehyung replies, eliciting a groan from the Alpha. "Do we really?"
"I guess it can wait until later, I've missed our bed too. It is so soft and smells like you a lot." The Omega answers. "So it's settled, cuddle on the bed first before we do anything else today. Besides, driving for eight hours is kind of exhausting." The elder replies. "I offered to drive, but you wouldn't let me." Taehyung retorts
"Because that's my job, just like opening doors and closing them for you is also a part of my job." Jungkook states. The young Omega chuckles as he rolls his eyes, shaking his head as well. "Oh yeah, then what is my job? Cooking and cleaning?" He asks. "No. I can cook and clean, you just beat me to it ninety-nine point nine percent of the time. Your job is just to be my mate, to smile, and to be happy."
Taehyung smiles as he looks over at Jungkook, his eyes full of love and happiness because of his mate. Since he can remember, even at Crescent Moon pack, he has always heard that an Omega's job is to cook, clean, and take care of the family behind the scenes. That they are supposed to bend to the Alpha's will, yet being here in Blood Moon, it is quite clear that those old school ideology is thrown out the window. When he was mated to Jimin he felt like he had to follow that ideology, even when the elder said that it is a bullshit thought process.

Jungkook sighs as he smiles, relaxing even more on his mate. He never realized how one simple action of Taehyung running his fingers through his hair could make him feel so relaxed, peaceful, and loved. He takes great comfort in the action, loving how the younger one's fingernails would graze the top of his scalp. "Feels nice." He mutters, nuzzling the Omega's chest with his face, enjoying the soft thumping of Taehyung's heartbeat.
The Alpha knows that he has been somewhat clingy the past few days, yet he also knows that his mate takes great joy in it. That he enjoys taking care of him and being his support system. Jungkook never knew he could feel this at peace. Any and every worrying thought that constantly racks his brain simply vanishes and is replaced by the simple thought of Taehyung. To the elder, it simply feels as if his mate is finding his reset button when he runs his fingers through his hair.
"When is the next meeting?" Taehyung asks. "When you are ready." The Alpha answers. The young Omega stops running his fingers through Jungkook's hair, sitting up slightly at the comment. "What do you mean when I am ready?" He questions.
Jungkook sighs as he sits up, he can see the confusion swirling in his mates eyes. "We need your help again Taehyung. We only know of you and Yoongi being from the trafficking ring. You are the only one who remembers everything. We have pictures of missing person reports, all of them male Omega's. We were hoping that you could identify which of them you saw and who got sold to who or if you remember their faces."
"Oh." The younger replies. He bites his bottom lip as he thinks about what his mate told him. "As much as I don't want to relive it, I will help. I'll try to give as many names as possible and hopefully save some lives. Also you want to expand the pictures to all ranks, there wasn't just omegas there. They used Alpha's in illegal fighting rings."
"They did more than just Omega trafficking?" Jungkook asks, his eyes widening at the new information. "Yeah, only for a few years though, it did not bring in enough money to keep it going." Taehyung explains. The younger looks down as he wraps his arms around himself, feeling a sense of danger and fear. "Oh pup." The Alpha mutters as he takes the younger in for a hug, wrapping his arms around his mate. "Everything will be okay."
"Promise?" The Omega asks, his voice soft, he knew if he talked any louder it would crack. "I wish I could promise that Tae, but I do not want to make empty promises to you." _________________________________ (Unedited)
