Taehyung's scream has Jungkook turning his head quickly back to the road. His eyes widen as he slams on the breaks. A wolf stands in front of their car though the Alpha can't help but glare at the wolf, which glares back. "Kook, who is that?" The young Omega asks he doesn't like the way the wolf and his mate are glaring at each other. Though the wolf on the road breaks the eye contact and runs off into the woods. "Leon." He answers. "Why is he out here. He's not anywhere close to Grand Oak?"
"I do not know, but I'll find out." He replies as he grabs his phone from his blazer pocket and finds his fathers contact before calling him. It rings and rings the older Alpha not picking up, he sighs and looks at the time knowing his father is already in bed asleep. He looks over at his mate and he can see Taehyung nervously chewing on his fingernails. He places his hand on the younger's thigh and gives it a litter squeeze causing the Omega to look at him. "It's okay Love." He says.
Taehyung lets out a sigh, not so much of relief. "I hope so. Let's just go get some food." He replies and places his hand on Jungkook's. Though the Alpha's thoughts are racing, he feels bad for shutting his mate out of his thoughts but he doesn't want Taehyung to know what he's thinking. Not just yet, not when he doesn't have all the answers to his own questions. He can't help but wonder what he saw in the woods near Crescent Moon, his working theory is that it was a wolf from Grand Oak. Though he doesn't know why.
The car ride is silent, both of them not knowing what to say or how to even form their thoughts into sentences. There was no music in the car just the soft hum of the engine and the noise of the tires on the road. Jungkook stops the car as they pull off to the side in one of the provided parking spaces right in front of the BBQ stand. He looks over at Taehyung and smiles admiring his mates beauty like he does all the time. "Jungkook, I want to tell you something." The younger says and all the Alpha does is hum a response. "I love you."
"I love you too sweetheart." He replies and Taehyung chuckles. "No...like I love you. Not just because of our mate bond. I know I tell you I love you all the time and I mean it every time I say it. But Jungkook I've fallen madly in love with you. Not just Moon, but me. My soul and my body loves you." He explains and a soft smile makes way to Jungkook's face as he chuckles a little bit, he doesn't know why but hearing that from his mate made all of the 'what if's' on if he's good enough for the younger just fade away. "You don't know how much you mean to me Kim Taehyung. I love you, my soul and body belongs to you."
"Mine is yours as well." Taehyung replies, the both smile before closing in the short distance they didn't even realize they created. Both hum in satisfaction once their lips connect. Molded, just for each other and no one else. The kiss isn't heated, though it is very passionate, both just simply enjoying it. The rush of euphoria and serotonin clouds their minds getting rid of any negative thoughts. Taehyung furrows his brows and pulls away as he gets dizzy. He pants catching the breath he so desperately needs, he chuckles looking at his mate. "I was into kissing you I forgot I need to breathe." He chuckles out breathlessly causing Jungkook to laugh lightly.
