We start brushing off the trash and branches on the dock when a small boat come towards us. I smile as Pope groans at the two idiotic boys.
"Well look who we have here." John B says in a weird voice. He puts his hand on his shoulder and talks into it like a walkie-talkie. "We have a safety meeting. Attendance mandatory."
"Aww, do the boys wanna play?" I pick up a stick and throw it towards the water. "Go get it Jj, go get it." I joke, treating the blonde boy like a dog.
"I can't come with y'all. My pop's got me on lockdown." Pope informs them.
"Your Dad is a pussy, over." Jj says to him, I laugh slightly at this until Heyward appears behind me.
"Oh, I heard that you little bastard." Heyward scoffs.
"What about you, Princess Leia?" Jj asks me.
"Uh, sorry. If Pope isn't going, I'm not going."
"Dude, why." John B groans.
"I think the fact that would rather clean with Pope than go hang out with you idiots, explains my thought process right now."
"That's dumb. Anyways, Heyward! We need your son!" John B tells him.
"Yeah. And island rules says that day after a hurricane is a free day." Jj lies.
"Really? And who made that up?" Heyward says sarcastically.
"Uh- the pentagon, I think. We have security clearance. I have a card." Jj lies, again.
"Y'all think I'm stupid?"
At this point, I'm about to burst out laughing at this whole situation.
"Please, Dad? I'll do it tomorrow." Pope reasons. "I promise."
"No. No. No. Hell no. You do it right now."
Jj and John B are whispering at us, trying to convince Pope and I to just jump in the boat anyways.
"C'mon." Pope smiles at me.He grabs my hand as we jump into the small boat together.
"No! Hell nah! Get yo asses back up here! When you get back here, you're gonna clean shrimp, and your bedroom!"
"And I don't like your friends!"
"Hey!" I yell back.
"Except you, Leia!"
"We love you!" John B yells at him as the boat continues to drive away.
"Nice shirt." Jj smirks from behind me.
"Shut up before I throw you overboard."
