We pick up Kie and drive into the marsh.

I was sitting next to Pope on the small worn out bench, Kie and Jj were sitting towards the front, and John B was standing behind me.

"Let me show ya a party trick." Jj laughs.

"Oh, God." I mumble.

"Pope, slow down a bit." Jj demands.

"It's not gonna work." John B groans.

"It never does." Kiara adds.

Jj stands on the nose of the boat and starts pouring beer into his mouth. He misses, of course.

I sit and laugh at the idiotic boy while Kiara yells at him. "Jj! You're getting beer in my hair!"

Pope and John B groan and tell Jj to stop.

I stand up and try to grab the beer from his hand when the boat comes to a harsh stop, sending Jj flying off the front.

My vision goes black and I hear Pope asking if everyone is okay.

Eventually, I get my vision back and notice bright red blood gushing from my forehead.

"Mother Fucker." I groan.

"Alessia? You good?" John B asks me, resting his hand on my back.

"Jj!" Kiara yells.

"Kie! Jesus, christ." I yell.

The sound of Kiara's voice echoed in my head.

John B was still hovering over me asking if I was okay over and over again.

I hated lying to John B so I just didn't say anything, which now that I think about it, was probably a bad idea.

Jj came back to the surface of the water. "I think my heels touched the back of my head." he groans. I knew based off his dramatic reaction he was fine.

"Pope, grab the first aid." John B demands. "She's bleeding."

"Shit." Pope groans. "We don't have one."

"What! Why do we not have a first aid kit?"

"This is your boat John B." I tell him.

"Shh, don't say anything."

He picks me up and brings me over to the seat near the steering wheel. "Dude, I'm fine."

"Stay."

"I'm not a dog."

John B ignores me and walks towards Pope and Kie.

Pope walks towards the front of the boat and points into the water. "Guys, I think there's a boat down there."

"Shut up." I tell him, thinking he was joking.

"No, guys I'm serious."

Kiara walks to the front of the boat near Pope and agrees. "Holy shit guys. He's right."

Kie, Pope, and John B all jump into the water after telling me to stay put.

I get nervous after a few moments.

They haven't come back up yet.
