TESTS WERE DEFINITELY not your forte, even if you would ace many of them. sitting in a chair and answering questions on a piece of paper wasn't your favorite thing to do at all, but even if you despised doing it you would get good scores.

"alright, that's it for class today. there's only one week left before your final exams begin, i'm sure you're all studying constantly right? don't forget to keep training, the written exam is only one element. there's also the practical portion to worry about, good luck." aizawa said.

well, that was because you would quiz yourself and study all night without barely any sleep.

and so the chatter about the exams started, "ashido! kaminari! we've still got time to study! that way we'll all go to the training camp together, right?" midoriya, who ranked 4th in the midterms, said to the two who ranked 20th and 21st in the midterms.

"yes! as class rep i have high hopes that we'll make UA proud!" iida, who ranked 2nd in the midterms, added. "it's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class isn't it?" todoroki asked, the boy ranked 5th in the midterms.

but their words went in one ear and out the other for you, as you had been sleep deprived since the exams were announced. "yeah, definitely. i could probably use some more studying though," you said, quiet but loud enough for your classmates to hear.

you who ranked 6th in midterms just sat in your seat, looking down at your folded hands as some of your classmates had asked for momo to help them with studying. you had dark circles under your eyes as well, and today they were worse than ever.

"about that tea? i'm not so sure about the hairy one."

"no it's from harrods!"

kirishima smiled as he stood next to bakugou's desk, looking over at momo. "sounds like i should be studying with her," the red haired boy looked at bakugou.

"you think i don't know enough? maybe i should beat the lesson into your skull." bakugou answered with gritted teeth, angry as always. momo looked over at you, "hey l/n didn't you say you needed some extra studying as well-"

the class froze when they saw your figure.

"you look like a zombie," bakugou mumbled. "i'll be fine. just a few more studying sessions til three in the morning and that will do, you have enough people to worry about tutoring and i don't need to interfere with that." you looked up as you smiled.

"combat against robots?" you thought out loud as kendo walked, monoma out cold as the orange haired girl had dragged him from you and your classmates. you took another bite of your lunch as your friends conversed about the topic.

you groaned, to which everyone turned to you. you lightly tossed your chopsticks on your tray before resting your forehead on the palms of your hands. "i wish we didn't have to do practical exams, now i need to get sleep and study at the same time..." you muttered.

"for y/n to be stressed about something like this it must be difficult for her," tsu turned to you. you looked up at your friends, "come to think of it, do you really stay up that late just to study?" iida asked you. you rested the side of your head on your hand.

"how else do you think i ranked 6th in the midterms?" you breathed out. "and it's not that it's difficult, it's the fact i have no motivation." you rested your head on the table. you sighed, "at this point i'll just study with bakugou." you grumbled.

some choked on their food, "k-kacchan?" midoriya asked. you nodded lazily, "but for the sake of my ears i don't want to do that, especially due to my sleep deprived state. isn't kirishima studying with him anyways?" you asked.

"i think so, but i think he tolerates you." hagakure said. you furrowed your brows, "what?" you sat up straight, your body turned a little now.

todoroki nodded, "bakugou pays attention to you. he calls you by your first name a lot as well," the red and white haired boy said, then slurped up more soba. your gaped your lips apart a little, your face softening.

your classmates' words made you see a whole different perspective, and you thought as you began to eat more of your food. little did you know the ash blonde was watching you from across the cafeteria, "what are they talking about?" he thought out loud when he noticed your change in emotions.

kaminari looked up at the blonde, his mouth full with food. the yellow haired boy lined his eyes up with bakugou's view, making a smirk plaster onto his lips. "you're staring at l/n?" he asked the explosion quirked male after swallowing his lunch.

bakugou immediately turned his head after kirishima looked past him, "kaminari is right," he smiled. bakugou furiously looked at the boys, "I'M NOT STARING AT THAT TELEKINESIS QUIRKED IDIOT!" he exclaimed.

"aw, he even knows her quirk!" sero cooed. at this point the three boys were just teasing bakugou, his face turning a light shade of pink. however it wasn't that noticeable unless you really paid attention, and when you heard the familiar voices you turned around to see what the ruckus was about.

kirishima was moving bakugou side to side as the hot head himself slightly covered his face, an angry expression seen on him. his eyes averted over to you and you waved, however bakugou just turned away after the boys started screaming again about your gesture.

you furrowed your brows but chuckled in confusion, turning back to face your friends. kirishima gasped, "you should tutor her bakubro!" the hardening quirked male insisted. sero and kaminari agreed, "she doesn't need my help," bakugou grumbled. he didn't want to say it, but he knew that you were intelligent.

"oh come on, she did say she could use some extra studying!" sero said. bakugou looked up a little, angry eyes staring down the three boys who were hyped up at the idea. "no." bakugou simply declined.
