"MIDNIGHT IS GOING to have final approval of your names, it's not my forte. the name you give yourself is important, it helps reinforce your image and shows what kind of hero you want to be in the future." aizawa said.

and so the boards and markers got passed down, you thought of a hero name. you played with the marker in between your fingers, then the thought of your sister came into your mind.

SIX YEARS AGO

"i'm home!" hana shouted, making you run to the front door to greet your sister. "HANAAAA! I MISSED YOU!" you whined, yanking your sister's hand to which she smiled at you.

hana crouched down to her ten year old sister's level, "how was school today?" she asked you with a smile. you sighed, "i got hit in the shin with a tennis ball," you grumbled, rubbing where your leg was hurting.

your mother then came to the front door to greet her eldest daughter, "hi honey, what did you do today?" your mom asked. hana stood up straight to give her mom a hug, "we picked our hero names today." she smiled.

your face lit up as you looked at your sister. "really? what did you pick?" you asked her, your mother curious as well.

"healing hero: raki. it comes from the word meraki, which means 'to do something with soul, creativity or love.' to put something of yourself into work, to be more exact."

your mother stared at her daughter, "that's beautiful, hana." she said in awe. you stared at your older sister in amazement.

"that name is so awesome!" you exclaimed, you sister gave you a warm smile, then kneeled down to your level. "when you become a hero, always put the name and meaning into consideration. you want people to look up to you n/n."

PRESENT

you took the cap off of your marker and began writing something down, remembering a word you saw on the internet before. you began writing down the words and smiled a little at your choice of hero name.

after some time midnight finally began speaking again. "now students, who among you is ready to share?" she asked, holding her hand out as aizawa was taking a nap and slouched against the wall.

as aoyama walked up to the front of the room, whispers and mumbles were heard among the class. aoyama smiled, "the shining hero,"

BYEEEEE I CANT WITH HIM-

"well i mean, you can't deny my sparkle."

as the class stared at the blonde in disbelief, you on the other hand were trying your best to not burst out with laughter. midnight revised aoyama's hero name, the class not believing how she liked his choice. "it's stunning," aoyama smiled.

as tsu introduced her hero name as froppy, the class began to cheer "froppy" over and over again while holding their hands up in the air. after many of your classmates announced their chosen hero names, bakugou finally went up.

"king explosion murder."

"i'm gonna say that one's a little too violent," midnight commented on his code name. bakugou stared at her in anger, "HUH? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" bakugou yelled. you just poked the inside of your cheek with your tongue, watching the scene unfold.

"why don't you be explosion boy?"

"YOU SHUT UP SHITTY HAIR!"

after uraraka said she chose her which was "uravity" midnight said that the only students left were you, bakugou (who had to rethink his), iida, and midoriya. you stood up, making your way to the front of the classroom as you were certain with your hero name.

"telekineses hero: noia." you said. "wonderful! how did you come up with that?" midnight smiled at you.

"well like aizawa said, the name we give ourselves is important. someone else told me i should always put the name and meaning into consideration, and i got noia from the word metanoia which means 'the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life.' it's spiritual conversation." you explained.

the class stared at you in awe, so did midnight. everyone in the room cheered, except bakugou of course, making a small smile appear onto your lips. but katsuki even stared at you, his mouth gaped open a bit as he watched you sit back down.

"LORD EXPLOSION MURDER!"

"that's basically the same thing..."

"turn in your choices before the weekend," aizawa spoke of the internships as him and midnight walked out of the classroom. "we only get two days?" sero asked, making aizawa turn around. "yeah so you should start now, you're dismissed."

and with that aizawa closed the door, leaving you and your classmates to think about your internships. when lunchtime came around some were still thinking, you were among that group. "hey deku, who's on your list?" uraraka asked the green haired boy. to which he started mumbling, of course.

"there he goes again..." you and your classmates observed izuku.

you turned to bakugou who was angry as always, "who'd you pick bakugou?" you asked the ash blonde, sitting down on your desk with your body facing him and your legs crossed. "best jeanist," he grumbled, making you nod at his answer.

"deku! l/n!" uraraka came up to you two, making you both turn. "want to walk together?" she asked. you smiled with a small nod, midoriya agreeing too. you tilted your head to look over at iida, "hey iida, how about you-"

the blue haired boy wasn't at his desk.

"maybe he already decided where he wants to do his internship, my guess is he's off turning his forms in right now-" "I AM IN A BIZARRE POSITION!" all might exclaimed, making you raise your eyebrows at the pro hero at the door.

when midoriya left the class with all might it was just you and uraraka, walking out of class to turn in your forms before heading home. "hey l/n, so who did you pick for your internship? you already know mine," uraraka said to you.

you looked down at your paper in your hand, "i picked gang orca," you answered, "he was the top on my list."

to everyone who celebrates it merry
christmas!!! stay safe and healthy :D
