A/N I'm sorry for any translation errors. I don't speak Spanish, so I have to use Google Translate, which isn't always reliable.

Eliza stared at Alex, a boy on her college dorm floor whom she had a crush on. The only problem is: he only spoke Spanish, and she didn't speak any.

"Come on, Eliza. Just talk to him," Angelica told her.

"And how do you expect me to do that, Angie? He doesn't even know English," Eliza responded.

Angelica gave Eliza a push, literally, and Eliza tripped and made Alex drop his books.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Eliza said, hoping he understood.

Alex picked up his books and looked at the person who had made him drop them.

"Ella es tan linda," Alex mumbled to himself, hoping she didn't understand Spanish.

"What? I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish," Eliza explained to Alex.

Alex calmed himself down enough to talk to Eliza, "¿Te gustaría salir conmigo alguna vez?"

"I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying," Eliza said to Alex.

Alex grabbed his phone and put what he wanted to say into Google Translate.

Eliza blushed, "Oh! ¡Si! ¡Si!"

"Bueno. ¿Qué tal esta noche a las ocho?" Alex remembered she doesn't understand Spanish. So he put the sentence into Google Translate.

"Bueno," Eliza responded, hoping that that was the right word.

Eliza walked over to Angelica.

"See? I told you that you just needed to talk to him," Angelica said with a smug look on her face.
