Alex and Eliza were taking a midnight walk when they came across a shooting star.
"Look! Make a wish," Eliza told Alex, pointing at the shooting star.
They stood there for a moment before returning to their walk.
"What did you wish for?" Eliza asked.
"I didn't make a wish. I just let you make yours before we keep on walking," Alex explained.
Eliza frowned, "You wasted a wish."
"What did you wish for?" Alex asked Eliza.
"I wished to have a big family someday," Eliza said.
"Hey, Eliza?" Alex asked.
"What is it?"
"There's been something I've been meaning to ask you," Alex told her.
"What is it? You know you can tell me anything, right?" she asked.
"Well, um, we've been dating for a long time, and I was thinking. Ugh, I'm so bad at this!" He mumbled to himself. "What I'm trying to say is that I love you, Eliza, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So," he got down on one knee, "will you marry me?"
"Yes! Yes! Of course I'll marry you!"
Alex put Eliza's ring on her hand and kissed her.
Eliza and Alex continued their walk, talking about their future together.
