It was Alexander and Eliza's wedding day, and so far, it was pure chaos.

The Schuyler sisters were getting Eliza ready.

"Eliza stay still! I need to put your bridal vial on!" Angelica nearly shouted, sick of dealing with Eliza's irrational fears.

"Sorry, Angie, but I'm just saying, what if the British attack the wedding?"

"Why would the British attack the wedding? It's a wedding!" Peggy shouted, trying to find her shoes in the chaos.

"Because everyone's guards are going to be down for the festivities," Eliza gasped. "What if they kill Alexander?"

"If Alexander was as important as you say he is, do you really think Washington would let him do all the dumb stuff he does?" Peggy asked.

"Even if it's not because of Alexander, Washington is still going to be there," Eliza pointed out.

"Eliza, nothing bad is going to happen," Angelica assured her. "And Peggy, stop looking for your shoes and help me with Eliza!"

"But I need to find them now, the wedding starts in an hour."

"Yeah, and the bride isn't ready! Which do you think is more important, the bride looking good on her wedding day or your shoes?"

"Well . . ."

"Just get over here!" Angelica demanded.

"Seriously Peggy, you think your shoes are more important than my wedding. Without me there wouldn't even be a wedding," Eliza reminded her.

The gang didn't have much better luck with Alexander.

"What if she says 'I don't'!" Alexander panicked as he looked at the ring he picked out for her.

"Mon ami, why would she have agreed to your proposal if she didn't want to marry you?" Lafayette asked.

"I don't know, Gilbert, maybe this is all some elaborate ruse to embarrass me? I mean Angelica is the one who introduced me to Eliza, what if they planned the whole thing?"

"Even if that is the case, don't you think Phillip Schuyler would have shut it down? There's no way he would have gone along with their plan," Lauren's told him.

"Maybe he didn't know. Have you ever thought about that John? What if he thinks this is a regular wedding, but they're trying to humiliate me."

Then Washington walked in.

"Washington, will you please set Alexander straight? He thinks that the Schuyler's came up with the wedding to embarrass him" Lafayette said .

Washington put his hand on Alexander's shoulder and said, "You think you're worth that much effort? You've been dating this girl for years, if this was some scheme she would have given up by now."

After the disaster that was getting the bride and groom ready, the wedding began.

When Alexander saw Eliza walking down the aisle, there was a look of pure awe on his face

Everything went as it should, both of them said "I do" and no British attacked.

Everyone there didn't see Alexander and Eliza as themselves but as two souls in love.
