Eliza and Alex were taking a walk at the beach.
"The sunset's so beautiful," said Eliza looking at the sun over the water.
"Not as beautiful as you."
Eliza rolled her eyes at her husband's sappiness and continued walking.
A bit farther down the beach, Eliza saw something that caught her eye."Look at this pretty seashell!" said Eliza holding a small, blue seashell in her hand.
"That's very pretty, Eliza."
She put the shell in her pocket and kept on walking.
The next morning, when Eliza woke up she saw her shell attached to a necklace.
"Surprise!" Alex told her.
"Aw, honey it's beautiful."
"I figured it would be better if it was on a necklace so everyone could see it. Now, come here so I can see how it looks on you."
Eliza walked over to him, and he put the necklace on her.
"There you look amazing," Alex said kissing his wife on the cheek. "Now let's go do something so everyone can see how gorgeous you look."
