"Ma-Ma" Kay-Kay calls out to Kevin with her hands extended up over her head asking to be picked up, her first word was said no more then 2 weeks ago. She can now sit on her own, stand with a lot of help and is trying to crawl, the last 8 months of our lives have been a blessing she has brought a light that I plan to keep.
"Dada, Kay its dada." Kevin has made it a point to get her to call him dad instead of mama but she just laughs at his attempt to correct her and claps in his face while nodding her head as if she was proud that he too could say such difficult words. "I dont get it, I read it was easier to say Dada."
"So you read now. Wow, look at that Kay-Kay, Dada, can also read!" I clap my hands and she copies me making me laugh and Kevin frown.
"Ofcourse I do. I have to be able to read all these wedding plans or ideas you keep leaving all over the house." He plucks one of the sticky notes I had left on a picture frame and reads it. "Convice Kevin to just elope." He raises his eyebrows at me and shakes his head as if the idea was an awful one.
"All I need is Lana and Kay-Kay, baby." I shrug my shoulders and walk towards the kitchen to get lunch started.
"And all I need is you there, but I really want my brothers there aswell. The club is our family and I want to share our happiness, our accomplishments, our future with them."
He places the baby on her high chair and moves to place his hands on my waist and pulls me into his chest. He begins to sway us from side to side and drops his chin on my head. "Can't you see it, all of them happy celebrating us, our journey to finally being with eachother. Me holding you just like this spining you so that everyone can see just how beautiful you are. Cake, baby there will be cake and laughter and Lana in a dress. Kay-Kay will get to dance too with her dada," he looks over his shoulder at her while saying it. "And all her uncles. Hopefully you'll invite you're brother and have him walk you down the isle. It could be a day of nothing but happy memories."
He spins me out and pulls me back in with my back to his chest he wraps his arms around my waist. "Soft lights, romantic music, flowers, laughter, pictures to hang on our walls, presents, and again cake." I giggle at his last words because it's all he really wants. He's been beging me to go cake tasting already and to please let him pick the flavor.
"Ok, but my dress will not be white." I turn to look at him and his smile grows at my words.
"Your dress can be any color you want baby but I know you will look amazing. Now if you could only get this little trouble maker to say Dada before the big day my dreams would be complete."
"You know I have no control over that." He sighs and drops his head to his chest. "But ill do my best."
"I love you so much."
I watch him as he turns and walk over to her to try and get her to finally call him dad, he has been the best over the last couple of months. He has taken very well to being Kay-Kay's father. He makes her breakfast every morning letting me sleep in a little before he goes to work, then spends atleast an hour with her every evening and will read to her every night before bed. Then he'll hold me and love me for as long as I allow it. Praising me in every way that he can think off -very creative ways- before cuddling with me while we sleep.
"How long would you like to wait before we have another?" The words have me turning so fast my head keeps spining even after my body has regained it's balance.
"What?"
"Do you want another one?" He speaks softer this time as if he was afraid to upset me with the question and if I'm being honest I hadn't thought about having anymore.
"If its because she hasn't said dada yet I promise she will, at some point." He smiles big at me and shakes his head.
"I know she will, but, I've always wanted atleast one of each, you know a girl and a boy." He shrugs his shoulders at me and my heart all of a sudden begins to beat faster. "But if you dont want anymore I completely understand, we already have one anyways." He turns back to the baby as if he hadn't just dropped a huge bomb on me. Kay-Kay isn't even a year old and he's already talking about having another one.
Sure she's sweet and the best baby I have ever seen, she already sleeps through the night, and eats solids, she can sit and watch TV when I'm busy and she'll literally go with any of the guys when we need a break but am I ready for another one, no. I want to enjoy only her for as long as I can.
"Can we revisit the subject when shes like five?"
"Sure, shell be in school by then and we'll have time to really make another. Make sure we put all those nice seasonings you used to make this one so well." I snort at his choice of words and listen to him try and get Kay-Kay to say Dada again.
"Fuck." Ghost calls from the doorway where his followed by a loud crash. We begin to make our way over to see what had happend but stop in our tracks with what we hear next.
"Fook daaa-dda, fook!"
Well atleast she said dada.
Hey guys, it's been a while. I dont know how I feel about this one but I wanted to update you on Aly&Kevin. Let me know what you think.
